I was poured this both on DRAFT and on CASK in a standard pint glass. I preferred the cask version. Anyway...
Looks nice and smells like a typical APA, but the taste was a little too bitter for me. Still, it exhibited nice qualities in smell and taste. Low ABV means they could have really took advantage of showcasing the taste - but I feel it's lacking a bit.
Not sure I'd order this again, as I found it "average." Actually, I was hoping it would be closer to Kern River's "Citra," but it fell flat.

on tap at Rattle n Hum in nyc
Pours a slightly clouded yellow-orange with golden tones. A one finger high white head bubbles up and retains decently with some streaky lacing on the glass.
Strong scents of grapefruit and orange with a boatload of searing hops.
Plenty of bitter hops right up front with citrus tones and nearly acidic rind qualities. Grapefruit and pine combine throughout most of the profile. A diminutive doughy backbone is slightly present with a hint of sweetness. Finishes bitter and dry with lingering flavor.
Lighter medium body, higher carbonation, definitely dry on the tongue. Pretty easy drinking although there isn't a great deal of depth in the flavor.

Consumed at Tony's Darts Away, Burbank CA on November 24th, 2010.
Beer is a clear lemony gold. A fine, creamy one finger head tops things off well.
Aroma is (surprise!) all about citric hops - grapefruit, orange, lemon.
Not getting any malt to speak of - flavor is all grapefruit, orange and pine. Significant bitterness. There is also an unfortunate wateriness to this beer and a metallic, copper penny character as well.
Slightly dry, dancing right at the edge of parching on the tongue.
Didn't really enjoy this one.

From 12/21/10 notes. Had on tap at Rattle n Hum in NYC.
a - Pours a nice golden color with one inch of white head and light carbonation evident.
s - Smells of citra hops, oranges, and maybe some light pine. Good but not much to it.
t - Tastes of citra hops, bitter hops, tropical fruit, oranges, and grapefruit. Very bitter.
m - Medium body and low carbonation, very bitter up front.
d - An ok APA but nothing special. Some nice citrus in the nose, but the taste was just too bitter to me and didn't have a ton going on. Wouldn't seek out again but glad I tried it.

A - Nice, clean, yellowish orange... good head and retention.
S - All Citra hops here. I've homebrewed with Citra and I'm partial to it -- great hop variety.
T - Wonderfully hoppy qualities with a very light body. Big citrus dominates, and the finish is clean and dry.
M - Nice carbonation, good mouthfeel.
D - Very drinkable, though the front-end hop assault may lead you to think otherwise... but it lightens up beautifully on the backend.
Reminds me quite a bit of Russian River's Happy Hops, and some other super-hopped blonde/pale hybrids. We need more lighter beers with big hops like this one. Excellent beer.
update: had it on cask at Toronado SD... like most hoppy beers, it loses something on the cask. Find it on tap.

Clean, clean, pale gold color. Love the citrusy taste of this, making me sure this is an IPA, not PA (as @KnBWineCellars lists it). Taste of hop juice (the thing and the beer). Not much body, but whadayawant for 4.3%. Almost feel like I'd get a sour belly from drinking more than a couple of these, just because the bitter is very up front. Very cool to have an IPA session beer!

On tap at Stone. The beer appears transparent golden with a one inch white head.
The hop profile in the aroma is herbal and floral with light orange and mineral notes. It seems well balanced, with a crackery malt foundation. The citrus is stronger when the beer warms.
The flavor displays an herbal/mineral hop character and a moderate level of bitterness that's slightly astringent. Citrus is light, with only light notes of tangerine and orange, but it's most apparent in the crisp and bitter finish. The beer has a slight crackery malt foundation.
It's light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. A pretty decent pale ale, though I was expecting more from Green Flash.
