Picked up a bomber at Total Wine in mid-November for $8.99. Given the "Summer" moniker i am not sure how well this beer has held up over time.
Beer poured golden with a massive white head that is leaving lacing behind in my Duvel tulip.
Nose is grainy with some hints of citrus.
Taste is grainy and musty with orange peel and pepper.
Mouthfeel is lively on the palate yet smooth.
Overall this is an outstanding session beer, full of flavor and life! Green Flash has done quite well with this brew!

On tap at Sycamore, Columbia, MO.
A - Poured a cloudy, golden yellow color with a one-finger, white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled yeasty and spicy with some grain-like aromas.
T - It had a nice spicy bite with some floral notes. Good grain and caramel flavors.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light to medium bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This is a nice sessionable saison.

Straw yellow with nice large bubbles, fizzy head that builds nicely then diminishes to a slight lace
Lemon, belgian yeasty funk, grass and a touch of honey and coriander.
Slightly funked, clove and ginger are present, but there is a nice lemon overtone.
Light and refreshing- great summer ale. There is great carbonation fuzz that keeps your mouth happy.

On tap at Terasas.
Pours a cloudy straw yellow, nice creamy white head, little lace.
Grassy lemon zest nose, with yeasty malts.
Creamy sweet malts up front, spicy middle and slight dry finish. Good clean yeasts, clove and lemon and maybe a touch of banana
Good saison lighter and more refreshing and sessions better than most saisons.

Served in a DFH pint glass.
A: Poured an almost clear moderate yellow color, with a slight chill haze. The head was frothy and definitely had that inviting, foamy, frothy, summery look to it.
S: Spicy.... OMG! Farmhouse funk for sure, with a huge ginger component. Still, I could tell this was meant to be a highly gulpable, clean, saison.
T: Crisp, spicy, and flavorful. This was not the standard, unfiltered, "brace yourself the a spice bomb" fare that I'm used to siphoning. This was like a souped up Lager or Kolsch with farmhouse characteristics.
M: Just enough bitterness to add character and the spice component was still somewhat aggressive, yet not overbearing. Nice carbonation.
O: My only gripe is that this one really needs to be sold for about $9.99 in sixers. The whole 4.5% ABV, summer style, bomber thing just doesn't sit right with me....

Pretty true to the style (Saison). This is the first US brewed Saison I've had. As I've been told, French farmers would serve their workers this style; hence the low alcohol level. I love the unfiltered nature of Saison. Rustic and damn good! Wish they sold 6 packs of their Farmhouse Ale. Hope to see this all summer in SF!

Saison Diego 4.20% ABV textbook saison, dry phenolic tiny bit tart, tiny bit funky, low ABV, thirt quenching. Lacks head and pils flavor and could be fruitier, but much more accurate saison than most. Nice haze for a mersh beer. A bit more wheat too might have been good to smooth out hop flavor and Brett pepperiness. or is that seeds of paradise?

Slightly hazed beautiful golden billowing white head, right off the bat as the lacing settles I get citrus, spicy yeast, and a slight peppery hint. Diving right into flavor, spiced mild citric notes with a mild Belgian yeast chalky/spiced character. More citrus comes out with each sip, a bit of mellow West Coast hops in the back end help it out, very drinkable more fruit esters super enjoyable Summer Saison. Mouthfeel is smooth sturdy carbonation carries the body well, nothing becomes rough or stagnant on the palate between sips other than a touch of lingering Belgian yeast spiciness. Overall a solid summer beer that I will reach for especially when it's only 4.5% abv and available in the summer heat prior to a ball game.
