he mountains of Summit and Nugget hops in this high gravity Imperial will thrill even the most experienced beer explorer. Savory evergreen and pineapple aromas mingle with flavors of bitter, resinous pine and grapefruit pith. A colossal rush of hoppy adventure!

22oz. bomber with no freshness date, poured into an Allagash snifter.
A: Deep orange hue, a few shades away from traffic cone, with cumulus cloud colored head that's two fingers thick. Substantial lacing clings to the glass and the body of the beer doesn't let any light shine through. Really interesting. The head remains throughout, which rocks.
S: Big hop aroma and with syrupy sweetness, as well as pine and orange rine.
T: Wow, expected a slightly more complex Green Flash IPA, but this is totally different. Shame on me. Massive hop bitterness on the front of the palate, with a trace of malt afterwards, which teases with a suggestion of balance. But this is 101 ibu's so forget it. Hops, biting hops.
M: Medium bodied and crisp-feeling. What every double IPA should aspire to.
D: Make a call for delivery for dinner and throw your keys behind the couch... this is way drinkable, especially for any hophead. If you want a potent one-beer nightcap, this is a great candidate.

Fruity, flowery, and malty, in that order. 4.10, across the board.

Look: It pours golden with a moderate slightly off white head. It does leave a quite a bit of lacing behind.
Smell: The initial aroma is stone fruit with a caramel background to it. The stone fruit is most favorable towards peach. Present are also citrus and a bit of floral.
Taste: The flavor has a strong hop bitterness highlighted by peach and floral elements. There is also a caramel backbone to it as well.
Feel: It has a moderate feel to it with moderately high hop bitterness that lingers well into the finish.
Overall, this is a quality imperial IPA that is not over done with the bitterness, but does provide a good bitter bite to it.
