A - Amber pout with an orange glow. Hazy and the white foam retains well. Sticky lacing around the glass.

S - Telltale west coast style; scents of lemon, pine, and blended hops is dominant.

T - Fresh blast of lemon zest. Pine smell held during the taste. The hoppy bite at the end rounded this one out very well. A traditional SoCal IPA all the way.

M - Smooth until the finish, and then the finish is what hopheads crave. While not a standout it is what people now expect from a California IPA. Balanced well, and with a bitter punch.

O - The trinity of San Diego IPA's along with Sculpin and Stone IPA. It does not disappoint and for those that love the style it is tru to form. Very enjoyable.

Enjoyed this 12oz bottle out of a Beligan Tulip glass.

A: Pours a copper hue with a white, 2-finger, frothy head that quickly slowly dissipates leaving a good trail and solid lace.

S: Hoppy, hoppy, hoppy aroma. Did I mention it smelled hoppy?

T: Extremely bitter and tart flavor with a good pine and citrus background. Finishes long, dry, and bitter.

M: Medium body and medium carbonation.

O: Wow – probably the most bitter hoppy beer I’ve ever had. Phenomenal.
