Pours a very nice coppery orange hue with very little head which quickly dissipates.

Absolutely slams you in the face with a ton of grapefruit and resiny pine notes, this thing is an absolute hop bomb. The resiny smell has a bit of sappy sweetness too it as well and all told it just gets your mouth watering.

More of the same on the palate although any hint of sweetness pretty much disappears as it is dominated by grapefruit pith and really drying hops on the finish. There is absolutely nothing not to like about this beer except perhaps that it would be difficult to have more than a couple. There is perhaps a hint of toffee like notes at the front followed by grapefruit pith and slowly more drying pine hop flavours with a super dry finish.

Little carbonation with a very smooth drying mouthfeel from start to finish that leaves your tongue tingling, very similar to the feeling i get from biting in to citrus skin (grapefruit), a feeling I don't entirely dislike.
