Poured into a tall pilsner glass revealing two fingers of white head and a body that is a hazy golden orange.
Aromas of peppery rye malty breadiness. Citrus and floral hops.
Lots of spicy peppery rye character. A little bit of orange and some noble hop.Bubbly and light bodied.

12 oz bottle pours a hazed, light gold color with an excellent cap of creamy white head. Fades at a medium pace to a cool-looking sheet of lace. Besides the haziness, which is definitely not in the traditional pilsner lexicon, this is a great looking brew.
Nose is nice; grassy noble hops mix with a zesty, bready rye character. Nothing extraneous, exactly as advertised...smells good, fresh and hoppy.
Taste is well done too, its clean and crisp with plenty of grassy hop flavor and bitterness. The rye seems to have a drying effect on the beer as it does not have the malt sweetness that some import pilsners can exhibit. I dont really have anything negative to say on this beer, except maybe a little depth would help - maybe a zing of malt in the middle. It was a delicious surprise as I hadnt heard much (any) hype on this one, but I'll be damned if next time I am up in the Metroplex I wont pick up a couple sixers of this.

Ugly, foggy, orange yellow with incredible head and lacing.
The smell is really nice and floaty. Rye and hops
It's very drinkable, but has a poor, old tasting, aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is strange. It splats on your tongue and slowly crawls back out like a splat ball. It's not great.
Overall, it's good enough to make me curious about their other beers, but I won't be buying a six pack.

A: Pale orange , opaque, thick white head. Doesn't really look like a German Pilsener, as classified. Maybe it's the rye?
S: Piney hop aroma, a little bread from the rye, sweet bread.
T: This definitely has a lot of flavor, more than I'm used to in a Pilsener. I'm a little disappointed because I was looking for something more mild to finish off the session, but this is pretty action packed. A lot of floral hop and piney-ness, more bitter and astringent than a normal pilsener.
M: Very carbonated, it almost has a bite from the effervescence. Not too watery, not too thick either. Like I keep saying, more than pilsener.
O: Interesting beer, not what I was expecting. Overall, more of an American Pale ale as far as flavor profile goes than a pilsener, in my opinion.
