I hit this place for lunch on the way to the airport. Good location halfway between the Scottsdale resort belt and Sky Harbor Airport.

I sat at a high top inside but with a nice view of the outside (though the road and adjacent housing was nothing special to look at). There is a good amount of outside seating. The inside was pretty roomy too, with a good sized bar.

Draft list is fairly long, focused largely on Arizona beers, with some other regional choices to supplement the list. I got to try a SanTan Devil's Ale, which was pleasant. I had the skirt steak and fries, which was fine.

The server was vey pleasant and helpful, and fairly knowledgeable with regard to the beer menu.

I enjoyed my stop and would hit this place again.

A fun new brewery in Phoenix, I was really looking forward to it. There are a few dozen beers on the menu, about half from Arizona. Samples, pints, and pitchers...all reasonably priced. Very fun menu.

I got the feeling, since my waitress and the staff in general seemed confused, that this place had just opened...but reading other reviews of this place and now seeing that there are reviews from 6 months ago that this is probably just the way this place is. While our waitress was nice, she was slow....really slow....like takes an order and then 15 minutes later comes back and is confused about who ordered what beer. I'd be confused too if it took that long to get 2 beers. Food wasn't any different, she said "be right back" and 12 minutes later came back to finish taking our food order. The whole event happened in this manner.

On to the beer, this was the part I was most excited about. Out of about 30 beers on the menu, there were only 2 that were their own...although several people were in the brewery working hard brewing beer...so that is a plus. I promptly ordered 3 ounce samples of both of their beers. Several minutes later the waitress returned with no beer and told me that one of the two was out, where was the other one I asked. She didn't know if I still wanted it...grrrr. I REORDERED the sample of their beer and ordered a second sample of an Arizona beer I had never heard of. Both were good, their APA was decent and I eventually enjoyed a pint of it.

The food was good as well, a little pricey for what it was but decent. Ultimately I would go back but I'd sit at the bar. If I continue to get SHITTY service at the bar, I'll never go back. With a confused staff, no in house beer...this is just another mediocre beer bar.

Went here last night with Da Boss and some friends.

The vibe at OHSO was good. There is a big dining room with a good number of tables plus limited lounge seating. A small bar seating area is on the right. There is a separate music room/stage/tables towards the rear. There are also limited number of outside tables for one to enjoy our nice winter and spring days and evenings. It appears a lot of remodeling went into this place although an original interior brick wall and an out of place sink in the entry way were in tact. Not sure how to describe the decorating style other than modern.
The quality of the beers were good to very good, especially the non-Arizona brews. There is good representation of Arizona brewers although some of the choices available were curious (Four Peaks Peach Ale).
Service was friendly and good. Brennan the server was a lot of fun and very quick with the beer orders. There was a minor flub with a beer order and we had multiple workers apologizing for it.
Selection of beer was very good. Not often is there 30 plus taps available. The styles available were far ranging from a Lambic to Belgian Strong Dark (Unibroue and Lost Abbey) to Holiday Seasonal (Deschutes and Langunitas) to very good IPAs (Including Two Hearted and Odell).
The food selction was limited to a 2 page menu but what was sampled was good. Had the burger, the bun was quite fresh and flavorful. Also tried the Bolognese Gnocchi on the side which was quite smackable as well. All in my party had favorable comments about their dishes as well.
Price for a 16 oz beer was $5, the burger was $10 or $11 and the sides were $5 as well. For four of us it was $100 with tax, so a bit pricey but not outrageous by any stretch. But then again it is in the Arcadia district.
Definitely check it out if you get a chance, we plan on going back!

At this time they do not have their own beers and they say it will be six to nine months before they do. What this place does have is a large selection of Arizona beers as well as some good out of state beers and imports. Great prices on the beer, especially at happy hour. $4.00 for 32 OZ of any Arizona beer. What is unfortunate is that the food is both overpriced and not very good. They did a nice job at remodeling the place froim the previous place but the work still looks a little unfinished.

I have been to this place 2 or 3 different times, and every time I'm there, I get the feeling that it is brand new. I don't mean that in the best way, though. It has a feeling like they just haven't gotten it dialed in yet. I will likely go again and give them another try, but if they don't get it dialed in, it will be added to my list of places to not go. I find the beer really good. Mostly local brews and some other top notch offerings. I have tried a few different food items, and nothing really stands out. Everything seems to be just average. I think that it is a good concept, but if they don't get it togeteher, I'll stay closer to home.

Atmosphere - I'm a big fan of the back patio during the day. It's very relaxing/mellow and, if it is of interest to you, it's very dog-friendly. They have water bowls, dog treats and hitches for leashes at each booth.

Quality - The patio is set up quite well, and they did a great job on the inside, too.

Service - I gave this a 3, because I've had two servers who were 1's and two servers who were 5's. The bartenders I've dealt with have all been very good.

Selection - They have many Arizona beers on tap. Their own beer is okay, but they are still working to get better. The good news is that there have been great guest taps each time I've been there: Oskar Blues, Bell's, Goose Island, Firestone Walker, Jolly Pumpkin, Lagunitas, etc.

Food - Average. Not bad, not great.

Value - Very well-priced for beer, in my opinion. Their pitchers (which yield roughly 2 1/2 pints) are only $9. Their specialty and high ABV brews are more, but I thought the pricing was still very reasonable.
