On-tap, served in a wine glass
A burnt orange hue with a thin, one finger white cap. The head falls to a thin layer with some nice spider web lacing.
The nose is herbal, with some peaches and tangerines, fresh oak, white wine, and barnyard brett notes. A balance of fresh, hoppy saison blended with a wine barrel aged saison. You can get the best elements of both on the nose.
Soft peach, tangerines, and oak roll onto the palate with barnyard, white wine, and herbal notes coming through the middle. The finish is dry and oaky, with a touch of lingering sweetness from the fruit notes mixed with barnyard.
Medium body with light carbonation. A bit acidic, but overall pretty smooth.
A very nice blended saison that highlights the base beers pretty well.
