Deciding to stop into this little average looking liquor store and stumbled upon a great stash of quality beers. In the back you will find a half dozen coolers stocked with a great selection including many limited releases and hard to find beers. Great beers from Hair of the Dog, Lost Abbey, Avery, Firestone Walker and a some quality imports. But the best part about the place is the vintage stone bottles. Bottlers as old as 08 and 09 of IRS, Old Guardian, Double bastard, anniversary series and vertical epic series. I went in for a water and to take a quick look around and ended up leaving with a case and a half of bottles.

I wrote the above review the day I purchased over $150 worth of beers from Party Liquor. Since then I have had a chance to open many of them only to find out that most of them were bad. I purchased 6 bottles of 09 Stone IRS and so far the first three have been borderline drain pours. Stone IRS is one of my favorite beers and I drink it very regularly and these bottles were way off. I was so excited to find a great selection and for great prices that I didn't stop to think that Chino Hills is a very hot place in the summer and these beers sit in a non air conditioned store and bake. There are cases and cases of vintage stone bottles sitting on the floor and they have most likely been there since there original release dates. I would suggest purchasing a bottle and trying it before stocking up.

I first found this when my wife went to the 99cent store next door and I said WTF. Why not.

The owner Bobby has come leaps and bounds from where he started.

Atm- It's a liquor store. Complete with zig zags and porn. Keep going all the way to the back.

Quality- Great selection of beers from all over So. Cal plus some east coast and midwest offerings.

Service- Bobby is a great guy. The other two guys there are a bit rough and can't really answer any questions about avalibility or when it will be on shelf.

Selection- Bruery, Bootleggers, Alesmith, Ballast Point, Great Divide, Avery, Kasteel, Rodebach, Firestone Walker, Stone, Victory. Slowing starting to phase out the BMC and get more craft

Food- N/A

Value- Has a lot of vintage bottles at a great price and can always break up a six pack is what I love.

To the reviewer below.. We at party house liquor take pride in everything we sell. There is a reason we have been in business for 38 years. I was very surprised to have read your revised review of our establishment. In response to your comments about my vintage stone bottles...this is the first complaint I have ever received about any of them..In fact when ever my stone reps want to do a vintage tasting they actually purchase the beer from my store..In response to your comments about the Hair of the Dog "Adam"...i opened an account with that distributor 2 months ago and did not receive the hair of the dog until 2 weeks later because the distributor was sold out...So my batch of all 3 types of the hair of the dog is as fresh as you can possibly find..Our store is always cool and ideal to store bottles...I wish you would have come back to the store and discussed the matter with me and we could have resolved it. If you read the reviews on yelp about my store and myself you would know that all my customers input are very important to me...I dont care if its a onetime customer or an every day customer I always want to hear how one really feels... Customer satisfaction is very important to me
