It’s always best to take a quill pig seriously, and that’s just what this Czech-style pilsner expects. Golden-hued like fields of waving wheat, this medium-bodied beer has sweet biscuit-like maltiness paired with spicy, floral hop aromas poking out from Czech Saaz hops. It pours with an admirable head and sticks nicely to the sides of the glass (lacing). Remember, quill pigs don’t make good pets, but they do make good pilsners.

Had on tap at brew house in Helena MT. I'm not really a Pilsner guy but went out on a limb here. It's nice, crisp, and pretty refreshing. A little biscuit malt at first finishing with a slightly sweet taste. In my limited Pilsner experience this is really drinkable. Would definetly enjoy again.

Had on site at Draught Works.
Appearance: Very slightly hazy golden straw color. About 1" of eggshell white head forms. Good retention and lacing. Moderate carbonation. 4
Smell: Dry, grainy and biscuity smell. Some noble hop character comes out as well.
Taste: Starts with some graininess and biscuit malt sweetness. Very dry in that regard. Nice, really very strong noble hop presence comes out mid palate and on the finish. Rest of finish is very dry. Excellent take on this style.
Mouthfeel/Overall: Mouthfeel is light with moderate carbonation. Very dry and easy drinking. Overall, very nice take on the style. Did I say dry? As soon as you finish one sip, you want to take another. Would be seriously good for a summer BBQ. Would have again for sure.

On tap at brewery
Light yellow with some white foam. Excellent clarity. Nose is of peppery saaz and decently so with a small grain/corn backbone. Dry flavor, slightly bitter and just a hint sweet with grain - classic on the style. thin with moderately hi carb and off dry finish. Nice beer, I had a full pint of this.

A - poured bright clear golden yellow. Not much head to speak of.
S- the aroma is not quite there. There is a small hop presence.
T - well this beer does taste pretty dang good. Nice hop bitterness. Some caramel comes through as well.
M - average.
O - well I am biased because I love this brewery. I Woolf and will drink much more of this beer.
