Poured on tap into a pint glass and offering a nice cap of foam and some lingering lacing. Nose is untraditional for a Pilsener and lacks the graininess and Noble hop aroma you might expect. Instead you get a full bodied aroma and some funky wet sock aromas of a Biere de Garde. Kind of odd really.
Taste is pleasant yet afoot and afield of the style. Neutral overall and playing a secondary role to the aroma which isn't bad but yet isn't anywhere near the expectation.
Offers a fullish feel and finish. A bit musky however. A San Diego Beer Week keg that came and went..

Thanks, Shane.
Appearance: Straw yellow body with amber highlights; great clarity. The head is voluminous and leaves clinging lacing behind.
Smell: Really nice creamy pale malt profile. Grainy, biscuity, very clean. Hops bring grassy, lemony notes. Great nose that displays clean fermentation and a solid balance between malt and hops.
Palate: American ingredients used in a German pils-ish lager. Works really well. Quite punchy and bitter with great herbal notes. Slightly bigger body and malt presence compared to your typical Euro pils, but nonetheless it retains that German pils balance. Supremely drinkable stuff, I could easily take down a few pints.
