Notes:
A great everyday beer that’s smooth and not too hoppy or bitter. Easy drinking and fresh tasting, fairly low in alcohol but full of delicious malty flavor.

On tap at BJ's Escondido. Lakers are losing again.
A: Golden orange with a big pillow of white foam that lingers.
S: Blend of bread and caramel with notes of earth. Understated but not unpleasant. Faint apple and pear aromatics.
T: A slight caramel apple flair up front with trailing pear. Biscuit accompanies toasted malt. Malty finish.
M: Medium body with medium carbonation.
Overall: A solid, easy drinking Amber.

On tap at BJ's in Valencia, CA.
Pours a slightly hazy amber with a tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form on the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt and some sweet fruity aromas. Taste is very much the same with a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but quite similar to Jeremiah Red in my opinion.
