A - Pours with a small head of white foam, that settles quickly and leaves decent lace. Standard hazy, golden body.

S - Spicy, light clove and a slight tartness. Kind of reminds me of Tucher.

T - Spicy wheat up front with a little bit of banana. Some coriander character and more wheat tartness in the middle and light bitterness to balance in the finish.

M - Medium body, moderately high carbonation, and a balanced finish.

D - Not bad, but kind of bland. A pretty standard brewpub hefe, really not on the same level as the real thing.

A: single finger head. Murky yellow body. No lace to speak of.

S: lemon custard sweet aroma.

T: citrus, mostly lemon. A subtle spicy flavor.

M: light body. Medium to high carbonation.

Overall: a nice hefe actually. More sweet lemon than sour lemon taste. Very drinkable and one of the better offerings at this location.

When poured, the color was a hazy yellow with a medium amount of foam and some lace. The smell of bread yeast, coriander and a hint of a citrus and fruit nature. The taste was the same as the aroma with, a bitter sweet finish and a pleasant after taste. A pleasant surprise for this hefe.
