Notes:
Sin Bin is a celebratory ale honoring the time spent in the penalty box. With sweet, toasty malt overtones and a delicate hop finish, Sin Bin is the official craft beer of the not-so-delicate Indiana Ice hockey team.

Friend of mine gave me one to try.
A - Pale orange. Slightly off-white head with low lacing.
S - Strong Belgian funk with some hop. Not overall appealing until after first drink.
T - Upfront Belgian phenolic with some light citrus hop character. Sourness predominates the overall taste with some sweetness and minute bitterness. Belgian flavor and sweetness linger on the palate. Similar to a Belgian wit but with more hops and more hops.
M - low/moderate mouth-feel with moderate carbonation. Slightly sticky on the finish from the Belgian yeast.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to those opposed to Belgian blonds and wits but if you're feeling adventurous I'd give it a try.

A thick, murky orange that looks to be almost orange-red without much ambient light, it turns out to have a little bit of lighter orange-yellow in the edges. It's not quite opaque. The head that forms manages about half a finger and fades to foam somewhat quickly. The foam that does remain remains for the long term and leaves reasonabla lacing on the glass.
I get mostly fruits and wheat-like notes in the nose. Perhaps it needs a moment to warm. When it does get that moment, a bit more candy sweetness and some grassy notes comes out. Light, yes, and somewhat nondescript, it's nonetheless a pretty nice aroma.
A tart sweetness comes out on the tongue before the tartness takes over. From middle to finish, a strange sourness emerging from the blend of malts, yeast and a floral hops note mars the union of flavors. This doesn't come together. It does improve as it sits.
This beer starts off with a crispess that remains all the way. Smoothness also stays strong. It's a little on the heavier side for the style, but it works reasonably well. It goes a little dry into the finish.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass.
Chill-hazed copper in color, with a rather short, bone-white head of foam.
Aroma-Malt, faint spice
Taste-Faint toasted malt, background spiciness, thin-bodied with a watered-down mouthfeel. Easy-drinking to be sure, but overall in need of punched up flavor and character to breathe some life into this brew.

I wasn't paying very much attention and didn't know what this was supposed to be. After finding out it was supposed to be a Belgian Pale, it was just slightly clearer. It has a bit of that skunky yeasty taste it should have, but it's more funky than skunky.
It has decent color and a light head that keeps on giving. The taste is a malt, yeast combo with a bit of infection, but not out of control. It's a drinkable imitation.
This is the third Triton for me and the weakest. So far Four Barrel is the best.
