Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass.
Ruby/brown in color, with a nice two-inch head of light tan foam.
Aroma-Caramel and nut note
Taste-Toasted malt, caramel, nutty, faint hop note, light bodied, with a bit of a dry finish. Upon warming, finish becomes a bit astringent and metallic. Overall a decent brown.

Wow. This may be the best beer that ever made it out of Indiana. I always thought somebody must be making good beer there, and now I found someone. In the six years my son went to school there.

It could also be that I really never encountered anything of this style, have I, but I am usually a fan of styles Americanne. This may not be over the top like the hoppy things, but it is a special brew. American means a bit more....of everything. This one does that with a very nice balance.

I would definitely take a Titan Four Barrel any time.

Big thanks goes out to BeerBuddy2122 for this one as a part of a recent trade! Served from bottle into a Duck-Rabbit nonic. Poured a brownish red-orange with a one finger off-white head that subsided to a minimal amount slowly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, caramel, wood, nutty, earth, and subtle roasted malt. The flavor was of sweet malt, nutty, subtle tart, caramel, and earth. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a decent brew. Something about this one seemed a little bit off to me. The tart note that I got was screaming potential infection. Really kind of sad considering what I was hoping for on this one. Worth your time trying at least once if you get the opportunity.

Pours a deep ruby in color, with a pleasant head of off-white foam and loopy 2-finger lace.

Nose - sweet & malty, with touches of toffee, maple and roasted nuttiness. Very in tune with Fall.

Flavor is caramel-nutty malts, with a slight hint of citrus hops to round off the finish. This brown ale is nicely balanced and quite enjoyable. Would pick up again, easily.
