Bottle from Champane's, less than six months old. A serviceable stout. Initially a little musty aroma. Black with virtually no head remaining. A little chalk, roast, chocolate malt. Decent drinkability. Undercarbonated and a bit above average mouthfeel.

Cold from the tap @ the Tap a dark dark brown to black to a shaped pint with a foamy, full finger short lasting tan head, leaving spotty lace after each sip.
Aroma of roasty malts and buttercream.
Smooth, sweet, creamy, medium bodied. Subtle malts and toffee.
Super drinkable.

Another Triton and another disappointment. I didn't set my standards very high either.
The look and aroma a pretty average. The aroma maybe a bit below average - very subtle for an American style.
The taste and aftertaste are also not what one would expect for an American, and just plain pedestrian. Nothing stands out, including the overall balance.
Like most Tritons, I will not seek this out again.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass.
Dark black in color, with a moderate head of tan foam.
Aroma-Toasted malt, toffee note
Taste-Dark malt, chocolate, toffee, roasted coffee. Good flavor and body, a nice "every day" stout to have around.

Bottle from CWBlues, 12oz into a tulip. Thanks Cy!
Black body with a finger and change of light brown head. Ok lacing and retention. Nose has roast, dark chocolate, blackberries, and faint cocoa. Taste has more chocolate, lightly charred bread, roast, with a dry-ish finish. Medium thin body, and mild bitterness. Passable stout, but nothing too intriguing.

This is a straight-up American dry oatmeal stout. It’s super roasty with large coffee nodes and a pleasantly rough finish of oatmeal and toffee. Very nice, very creamy body ties everything together quite well—one of the best session stouts I’ve drank in a long while. Certainly worth the price of admission.

Thanks to Joe for this one.
A: Pours black with a small tan head on that reduces rather quickly leaving nothing on top. Some thin lacing forms around the edges.
S: Lots of roasted malt, a bit of chocolate, and a hint of coffee.
T: Lots of roasty malt upfront with a bit of bitter chocolate in the middle. There is a very faint citrus note in the middle, but it is fleeting.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: A solid stout. Not overly complex, but easy drinking.
