This beer pours a clear amber-bronze color. The head is half an inch in height, and recedes into a small cap of foam. The aroma is grapefruit, citrus and some underlying caramel. The taste is similar to the aroma with a sharp bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, and a smoth texture. Overall, this is a solid ipa that I would drink again.

Love the local brewing scene! This beer was awesome! Loved the big hoppy nose and flavor. Unlike some IPAs this one is dry and refreshing. All the hop goodness and a clean finish. The only problem is that it is hard to find. My liquor store keeps running out...

Poured a minute or so ago into a glass, crystal clear golden orange color with a pillow finger and half of head with good lacing.
smell is sweet fruit, tropical oranges, mangos, pinapples with a decent caramel malt coming through.
Taste is zesty lemon, bitter orange rind, grapefruit and a HUGE bitter finish!
Mouthfeel is dry crisp and bitter.
Well I picked this six up off a whim in MN when I went for a little Abrasive.... And I am glad I did really a great suprise! Good stuff, get it if you can.
One big problem is no date which I usually do not purchase beers with no date... However then store owner told me they just got it within the last week so I figured it could not be more then a couple months old, so I gave it a try and it is definitaley fresh!
However my score will be .25 lower then what I felt the beer was because of the dating issue... I am just sick of breweries not dating... If you can afford a label you can afford to at least have a notch system on the side to let people know the month or week it was bottled!

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Imperial Pint.
Appearance: Light gold with frothy, stark white head and light lacing rings.
Smell: Orange, grapefruit, lemon and floral notes. Some caramel. Similar to other beers that say "West Coast IPA", the aroma seems oddly mild.
Taste: Very hoppy and bitter, with grapefruit, lemon and orange. Some spice, floral and pine notes. Not much malts here. Despite all the hop flavors, it gets slightly muddled and overly bitter.
Feel: Moderate carbonation, medium body with a very dry finish.
Overall: While a good IPA, it seems to be more about bitterness than flavor. I like West Coast IPAs that are actually made on the West Coast, but the "West Coast IPAs" from Midwestern and Eastern breweries never quite live up to their biling.
