Thanks goes out to portia99 for this brew.
22oz. Bomber
Pours a very nice black color, nice carbonation, with a nice one-finger creamy light tan head, which does leave some very nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with lots of chocolate, and toffee/coffee notes. The taste is very nice malty, and lots of dark stuff. Medium body. Overall a very tasty brew, glad to have gotten a chance to try it.

A friend hooked me up with this - Served out of a bomber.
A - Thin black, with creamy tan head of 1.5 fingers. Good lacing, a little watery looking.
S - Espresso, not very complex to me. Some sweet malts with a slight bite.
T - The espresso is dominant. Hints of dark chocolate, has a nice little bite and slightly warming.
M - Medium bodied. Nice and smooth across palate with a good strong finish.
O - Decent porter, had a good level of drinkability to it. Nothing to write home about IMO.

Poured into a standard pint glass.
Pours a very dark brown color with a quarter finger of off white head. There is some lace on the glass. Lots of chocolate and roast in the smell. The taste is smooth with some roast and smoke. There is a nice chocolate/cocoa note too. The finish is roasty but not overly bitter.

Poured from a 650 ml bottle, into a standard pint.
A: Black. Pours about a 2 finger, foamy, brown head. Slow, dry, deterioration; leaving behind plenty of sticky residue. Sporadic lacing.
S: Lots of dark chocolate and coffee beans. Very woody and earthy character.
T: Flavor is of roasted coffee, bittersweet dark chocolate, butterscotch, and just a bit of licorice. Buttery.
M: Hearty but crisp. High alcohol character. Very liquor-y. Very well-balanced.
D: Sip and enjoy.
Atmosphere is great. Giant, foamy head, nice lacing. Nose is chocolaty roasted espresso. Great flavor combination of earthy and sweet components. Overall, this is a great quaff.
