I am super excited that there is a craft beer store open in Morrisville. My wallet, however, may not be so excited that this place is just a long walk/short bike ride from my house.
The store just opened about 10 days ago, so everything is super clean and organized. Beer covers several walls around the outside of this nominally wedge shaped store. In the back (wide part of the wedge) is a bar with a dozen taps. About half are locals, the other half top quality beers (90 minute IPA, Ten Fidy, SN Harvest anyone?) Big wall of singles for mix and match and they're cool about breaking up most anything except sealed containers.
Prices are on par with the rest of the area, but the big savings for me are time and gas... four minute drive from the house because, really, who wants to haul home a pile of bottles on a bike?!?
Cheers to Triangle Wine Co., don't let the name fool you and welcome to the neighborhood, guys!

I can't believe I have reviewed TW yet. This place is fantastic. They have an outstanding selection, great people and a fantastic bar area with 10 or so on tap. I love their selection; especially when it comes to Belgians. It's a ride for me but my homebrew club meets there regularly so I have plenty of opportunities to stock up. TW is the place to buy craft beer in the Raleigh area.

Coming home from a game in Greenville, I stopped by this place after finding it here in BA and I'm glad I did. This place is located in a smaller neighborhood that seems to have a lot of empty buildings, it's pretty close to the interstate so it's easy to get too.
The store is nice and open and very easy to navigate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their beer specialist checked in on me several times during my visit and actually went and got me a 4pack of Blackout Stout from the back because there was none on the floor. They seemed knowledgeable and always willing to help. As for quality, the only thing that bothered me was that they had cases of Green Flash Double Stout sitting by the window with the sun shining on them all day.
As for selection, it was very impressive. Founders, Green Flash, Lagunitas, Southern Tier, Bells, Oskar Blues, Bruery, Dogfish, Great Lakes, Highland, Weyerbacher and so many more. Those are just the brands that I picked up. Also a large import selection with all of the good Belgian beers.
If you are in the area, this is a must stop and one that I will definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Nice beer oasis in western Cary and Morrisville.
While mainly a wine store, they have a nice array of beer throughout the store. Cooler section on the far left near the registers has a smaller selection of ready-to-drink while the main attraction is on the far right of the store. Don't miss the close-outs and specials in the front center of the store as well.
Well done bar area in the back with 12 or so taps. Attended the Founders takeover they had there a few weeks back and they did a really nice job with that.
Overall selection is solid and representative of beers available in the area. The big plus for them is that you would have to drive pretty far from their store to find most of what they have to offer. All Triangle breweries represented well.
While not a destination, this is a shop well worth visiting if you are in the area.

It's Great to have a store so dedicated to beer in the Cary/Morrisville Area. Like the previous reviewers, don't let the name fool you, these guys don't put beer on the shelf as an afterthought. Not only will they help you with anything you need beer (or wine) related, but I heard them one time talking with another customer about ordering a different beer from a brewery they had some of on the shelf already. They also have a few taps available in the back of the store for sampling beer (and also have wine tastings as well for those who are also into that).
They arrange US craft/microbrews by beer style on a huge shelf (essentially Pilsners on one end, Stouts on the other, with all other levels of heaviness in between), and they arrange international selections by country. I personally like this because I always look for something I've never had when I come to a craft store and then I can choose what style I want and go from there. They don't waste valuable shelf space on the macro brews; there's a grocery store next door that can take care of that for you. If you live within 30-45 minutes, I'd certainly recommend visiting. You can sign up and they send out emails to get some exclusive offerings, including beer tastings/classes, as well as letting you know when new offerings come in so you know first! Keep up the good work guys. Cheers!
UPDATE: These guys now have a ton of brewery events where they bring in breweries to take over their 12 taps in the back of the store. They are wildly popular in the RTP Area and very well announced on their homepage, facebook page and twitter page. Sam Adams has come about 3 times in the last 4 months plus a ton of fairly obscure breweries that you wouldn't get a ton of elsewhere! Great job!

Triangle Wine Company is a pretty new place as far as I know - I had purchased a $10 for $20 Twongo which was a perfect excuse to check it out. It's sitting on the corner of Davis Drive in Morrisville, you can see it right from the street/intersection.
They probably have 3-4 times more wine than beer, but don't let that keep you away for beer! They seem to be about 75% single bottle and 25% case/6pack/4pack. The selection overall seems pretty damn good. A lot to choose from. The selection IS a little lacking if you want a large selection of 6 packs.
They had a HUGE stack of Rogue - Santa's private reserve in the front of the store. The sign read "Santa got a little bit too much of this" or something to that effect. They were unloading it for 4.99/sixer or 17.99/case! I greatly appreciate a store reducing and unloading rather than letting it sit on the shelf all year.
The staff was "around" / present if needed and a couple people did ask me if I needed help finding anything. So +1 for that.
Overall a cool place that i'd definitely stop in to for some harder to find beers.

Checked out this place today.
Selection was amazing. Saw beers I had not seen before in NC. Never thought I would say this about a Triangle Area Beer store, but it may be better than Sam's in Durham.
Service was fantastic. I asked for a 6 pack of 21st Century Black IPA. They had not put them out yet and went in the back and got one for me. Much appreciated.
Store layout. Singles were arranged by style and not by brewery. I found this to be quite confusing and specific beers were hard to locate.
When I walked in, an employee appeared to be chastising a customer for getting a single from the six pack/four pack area. This was a turnoff for atmosphere but my personal service experience was excellent.
