Having 10 oz draft ar the brewery.
Appearance: dark brown, no head, no clarity. Looks like a typical quad. Some lacing on the side of the glass.
Smell: bananas, raisins, plums. Nice typical dark fruit aroma. Can't wait to try a sip. Lots of sweet malts too.
Taste: Same flavors as above. Dark fruit flavors are very dominant in this beer.
Mouthfeel: silky smooth, full bodied, medium carbonation, and very easy to drink.
Overall: a nice quad from a local Denver brewpub. Happy people recommended this place to us. I wonder what is next from these guys.

Had on tap at the brewery in Denver. Came out dark brown with a brown, creamy head that disappeared fast.
Lots of banana, nut and dark fruit in the aroma. I got some raisin or date as well.
Very malty taste. Lots of banana and nut flavor. Somendark fruit sweetness as well.
Smooth creamy mouthfeel.
Overall I liked this one a lot. The Belgian yeast is pronounced but well balanced.

Draft at the brewpub.
Pours deep dark brown with slight mahogany edges and one finger light beige head that quickly settles into very thin ring. Not much in way of lacing.
Spicy aroma with hints of dark malt and dark fruit. Slightly smokey roasted malt presence which overtakes sweet fruit character. Lots of chocolate.
Medium bodied with a lot of dark malt and spice. Roastier than expected for the style with a prominent chocolate presence but not much in the way of estery dark fruit. One dimensional and uncharacteristic for the style. Abv decently masked with heat toward end if palate. Peppery subtle plum and raisin
