Pours vibrant ruby with a small off-white head that sticks around for the duration of the glass. Some lacing present.
Sweet caramel/toffee malts in the aroma. Slight citrus/floral hop component, but leans toward malty.
Simlar flavors. Lots of big sweet caramel notes without ever being too sweet. A little bit of nuttiness on the back end. Some citrus and floral hops provide a bit of balance.
Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with good carbonation.
A little light for an imperial, but pretty tasty. I'd prefer a few more hops, but there were still enough to balance and prevent it from becoming cloying. Fans of maltier styles will love this as mouthfeel is again spot on.
