The legendary "Sloan Pony". One of the most famous pubs in Britain. It's big and comfortable with excellent food. The atmosphere is rather bland - rather like that of a Wetherpoon's pub. It's clean and tidy and soulless. The beer is famous for often being dry-hopped, but that isn't always a good thing. In fact, the quality of the beer is below average for a decent pub, and certainly below the standards of any Wetherpoon. The range is not exciting, and doesn't change that often.

But, hey, it's famous, go and make up your own mind.

Grand old traditional pub on Parsons Green. Very comfortable couches adorn the place. Good ale selection when I was there, Adnams, Bass and Highgate Mild to name a few. Suzanne and I sat at the rear of the pub in a small eating room where it's smoke free. While obviously a top notch pub, it was just way too smoky for us to enjoy the second time we went there. We were not allowed to sit in the eating area even though it was empty. Would enjoy much more if we could time a visit with a small crowd. ake a distict line (wimbledon) train to Parsons Green stop. Note:
this pub will rate higher with smokers or more tolerant individuals.
