Great selection of beer on draft and bottled beers with a limited but good selection of food. The service is very attentive.

Hidden in a strip mall, this place is a gem. Decent atmosphere. Very knowledgeable staff and a very wide selection of beers including vintages of Parabola, Sucaba, KDS, etc. Prices were decent for a craft place. The food was good if a little bit on the pricey side. I would recommend this place to any craft enthusiasts.

We went to this place for a late lunch with the kids. The vibe was decent, it was filled with almost to seating capacity. Many people visit during lunch time. The quality of their beer offerings and food is top notch. I had Peche 'n Brett, which I have never seen on tap before, and Lagunitas Waldos' Special on tap. There were 50 beers on tap. I actually did not count them, but that is what was being advertised. If I had not had the two beers I had, there were definitely other high quality beers to choose from. For Spokane, the selection was top-notch. The food was a bit pricey for the region, but it did not disappoint. If I were to visit Spokane again, this is the first place I would visit if I was searching for craft beer.

Came here with family during our road trip out west 08/13. My aunt recommended we go here and luckily everyone was on board. Had the Double Dead Guy on Tap and it was delicious. Chef's Burger was one of the best burgers I've had. Ever. Great atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. I want to go back to Spokane just to eat here again.

Perched up on a valley peak in a strip mall, Manito tap house is one of the best places for craft beer in the city. Atmosphere is full of craft beer lovers and good conversation. Bartenders know their stuff, and serve proper glassware. A huge mane listed all the taps and bottles.

They have vintages of things like Abyss, Sucaba, and BCBS. Plenty of locals represented. Food is tasty (portions are small IMO). And prices are market rate for the pours.

Easily a trip highlight, and one of the better spots in the country.

An amazing compact tap house in a small strip mall, the Manito has a great following. Be prepared for an excellent tap list and great food. The only negative is that it gets very noisy when busy.

Manito Tap House is a great place to go with friends and family. The food is sourced from local vendors , when possible, and their soups are amazing. Great selection of beer and the staff is very knowlegeable. I like the sample flights and the reasonable prices for the quality of food. They have indoor seating, bar seating and outdoor seating available.

I've had some inconsistent experiences with this place so held off reviewing. I think I have a pretty good bead on it now.

A - Sitting at the bar is better than the dining area imho. The place is too damn loud overall and they need some acoustic dampening. However, in the warmer months the patio is very nice and I do like the very beer-centric decor.

Q - Lots of great beer on tap and usually a very wide variety of styles. Something like 50 taps.

S - When this place first opened I had some incredibly slow service. They have improved in the speed of service lately although they are still crowded and slow sometimes. However, I chalk this up to their popularity so can't really fault them that too much.

F - The food is very good and they usually have some fresh or new options from week to week. The soups are great.

Where to begin? I absolutely love the tap house. They strongly follow this site with their selections and have 50 rotating taps ( paired with a map on their menu of alcohol content, beer advocate rating, ibu, beer qualities, etc). Like any beer lover's paradise they have a taster set at a fairly reasonable price with selection of six choices.
The quality of the beer poured from the taps is top notch. Very clean taps and all the servers here know their beer! I am told that they have two servers who have completed the first level of cicerone certification, which is definitely a plus. For the selection , this is probably the best place in town! They are very savvy about the beers they have on tap and do try and keep it local, craft and import ( which makes it all the better).
As far as the service quality, i would say it depends. I have received both very good and very mediocre service here. I think since its a fairly newer business though that the service has definitely improved!
The food is hit and miss. The burgers here and yam chips are top notch. Everything else i tried was alright. i don't think ipa really works well in clam broth personally.
I am told the counters have all been done up with refurbished barn wood, which is definitely impressive and lends to the overall atmosphere. During early evenings and weekends this place definitely gets its traffic. If you prefer less crowds, id recommend coming here on a Sunday or on a weeknight after 8 pm. They usually do a happy hour later in the evenings and on Sunday as well.

Manito Tap House is a gastropub located on the edge of the Mainto shopping center.

Atmosphere is nice. Newly remodeled, and very clean. There is a lot of stainless steel and concrete, with a touch of wood grain in the decour. Fixtures (restroom) are sustainable (green) fixtures. There is a rich wood grain, under glass bar top. A bike rack made of old bike frames is located at the front door. Seating for around 75 probably. It can be a bit noisy when crowded.

Quality is good to excellent. They have a wide variety of top shelf micros from both regional and international brewers.

Service is just OK. They seem kind of slow starting instead of being right there when you first sit down.

Selection is excellent. 50 taps and not a macro in the bunch. 4 of the handles are nitro taps. They also have a modest selection of wine and cocktails

I did not not try the food but looks like trendy pub food. Yam chips. Three bean burgers. Avocado this and that.

Value is very good. $4.25 - $5 per pint. $16 - $20 pitchers Happy hour includes $1 off drafts and appetizer specials.

Notes: Frosted glasses on request. Growler fills.
