On tap at the brewpub, into a pint glass.
Chestnut brown, cream coloured head. Good retention and light lacing. Nose of dark breads, some yeast, hint of chocolate and some grainy, bready character. Tastes grainy, some bread, malt sweetness and not much else. Almost resembles some lighter amber lagers I've had. Medium feel, lower medium carbonation. Drinkable but certainly not as flavourful or desirable as other locally available milds.

Dark brown mild, that is lacey. mild roast aroma. More or less smooth mouthfeel. on cask at the brewpub. decent drinkability, have this before anything else, but a passable cask.SOme chocolate, would like more chocolate and more hops. Very neutral overall.

Brownish amber colour, one finger of tan head, good lace. Smell is nutty and malty, bits of roast, little to no hop presence, caramel, mostly a malt bomb. Taste is malty as expected, bit of smoke and some light roast, more bready malt in the finish as well. This mouthfeel, medium high carbonation is quite distracting, watery feel. Not the most well executed mild, certainly needs some work for me to consider coming back to it but as is I will pass on it.
