The colour is gold, the liquid is clear. The finger thick head is off-white. Some lacing occurs.
The smell is bitter with American hops, resin and some bitter flavours. Hints of chloride, cookies and grass.
The taste is hoppy with a distinct bitterness. The malts are very anonymous and leaves an empty impression. It is not very complex. Salty hints. Light body (it would have been light even for an APA). The aftertaste is bitter with just a fragile hint of citric. Earthy bitterness in the lingering finish.
The carbonation is medium strong, the bubbles small. The liquid is light and a little smooth.
This is all about the (clean) bitterness. Very little malt character and almost no fruity hops.
