It is like a warm hug. People greet you when you come in, everyone is pleasant, a typical neighborhood pub.
The beer selection is amazing with lots of seasonal rotations of beer. Over 40 beers on tap. Some pretty exclusive. Glassware compliment the beer, staff is knowledgeable and food is regular pub fare done right.
Home made pizzas, nachos fully loaded and burgers made fresh to order.
Good live music and chill atmosphere. A great place to host a party in the back. Love this place. It is a complete package and what one looks for in a neighborhood. Decor is exquisite. Great care to detail. always neat and tidy and a feeling of energy that comes from a happening place.
The beers are king and the addition of the ten new tap lines is such that it goes up against some of the best beer bars in Chicago. True to Chicago roots - many Chicago beers here (Greenline, five Rabbits, Finch's, Goose Island) as well as a great balance of imports and select drafts.
St Patty's and Octoberfest are awesome, with over 10 draft selections each time that compliment the day. Fun and amazing events around these days, and a gastronomic delight.
A Gem of a bar.

The Kendall Pub is a great place nestled in the center of old town Yorkville. The place is neat, a old style bar up front and a large area in the back to place bags. The quality of the place, food and beer are execellent. The service was great the young server was very knowledgable about the beers on tap. There is a great menu and at least 20 beers on tap, 5 which are designated for the the commons....but everything else is micro or foreign. The burgers and nachos are...awesome!!!! 5 big beers, 5 jack & cokes, nachos, and two of thebig burgers came to $95...reasonable for Chicago.
