This review is for the Longmont location.
Atmosphere: The giant Dale's Pale Ale can made this one easy to spot from the Diagonal Highway. Walking in there was the smell of BBQ and an open, lodge-like setting.
Quality: Ridiculously good. The food was outstanding and the wide array of Oskar Blues offerings and guest beers was impressive. I had the barrel aged Barleywine and it was outstanding. The two pounds of wings were nice and spicy and the cheesy mac is an absolute must as a side.
Service: Our waiter was very knowledgeable and even though he was clearly busy he was able to provide good, timely and professional service. The one time he couldn't get back to the table, the manager picked up his slack and dropped off our drinks before sticking around for ten minutes or so to talk beer and provide us a few samples of his favorites. This place very clearly has its stuff together.
Selection: The menu is extensive and provides something for everyone and the beer selection is tough to beat. There were maybe 12 or so Oskar Blues offerings, four of which I had never seen before (although I am from out of state) and about 20-30 guest beers.
Food: The beer is the star of the show at Oskar Blues, but I would still eat here even if they didn't have the amazing beer selection that they do. The food is worth the trip, which makes it a good place to bring anyone, even your Macro-swill sipping buddies.

cool place right in lyons, co. restaurant upstairs, pub downstairs. i was only in the pub but it had a great atmosphere. lots of cool rock and roll stuff on the walls, dim lighting, and a big bar. all of their beers on tap are delicious, especially the ten fidy. played some free pool and enjoyed the vibe. uncrowded on a monday night was nice. service was fair to good, and the prices were oustanding, just 3 bucks a pint for happy hour. will likely stop here again next time i head up to rocky mountain national park. nice pit stop

Oskar Blues!!!!
Ok so I've been here for my birthday, college graduation, everytime family is in town, as well as anytime I without a doubt want great drink and food. Atmosphere is always great. Great rock and blues bands frequent the upstairs rockout room. Downstairs is quite large with an extended outdoor seating area as well. The partial wrap around bar is solid.
The best breweries from across the US on tap, RR, DFH, Odell's, Avery, Green Flash etc... are on tap, but you really need to look no further than what OB offers.
The food is what blows my mind even more about this place. Its Southern. My sexy wife is from Louisiana and this is "some of the best southern food she's ever had". The best chicken wings (made with their beers and spicy all the way up to ghost chilis), Oyster/shrimp Po Boys, Pizza, Fried Pickles, mussels, and the list goes on. The food is like this, you've had it and like it somewhere before, well it is much better here. Really everything feels gourmet.
A lot of beer, a lot of food, and the only down side is this, it is a bit pricey. Not a ton, but you are getting nothing but quality so you do have to support their cause with your wallet.

Somewhat cheesy atmosphere but the vibe is very relaxed.
Our waitress was well educated on the beer list and the service was good.
The food was well priced and delicious.
Beer was equally good, but a bit pricey.
I ordered a po boy and a pint of Deviant Dale's IPA. Liked it so much i got a growler filled.
Sometimes they have live music going down stairs which can be good.
Also, they usually have good guest taps. I was lucky enough to get a pour of PtY out there earlier this year.
Definitely check out this pub/restaurant if your in the area.

I stopped in to Oskar Blues Grill and Brew in Lyons, CO with my wife and daughter after a funfilled day in Rocky Mountain National Park. It doesn't look like much from the street. Inside, it's got more blues bar vibe than restaurant feel which is okay by me. I wasn't that impressed with the inside which is a bit hokey, but interesting at the same time. Bathroom was very clean, which is always a good sign.
The place seemed very slow at that hour of the day which was about 5:30. There were a few bikers (weekender wannabe types) outside and downstairs. Server - not pushy, friendly, and knowledgable on the brew. I asked if Ten-Fidy was seasonal and she said they don't bring it out at the pub until Fall, but if I wanted something dark in nature they had a batch of Velvet Elvis on tap at the moment. Since I was next to a life sized Elvis, I figured that's the way to go.
Food was very good. I had the turkey ruben which was huge, daughter had a small pizza which was big, and wife had the chicken tenders which were spiced well. All quite tastey. I was impressed with the flavor of the pizza - hey, they put hops in the dough, man! Onion rings are great too. There are some out of the ordinary type items on the menu which keeps it interesting, some of wich may be a little far out for kids or regular meat and potatoes types. There is something for everyone.
I thought the value was good. The ticket was just over $39. $6 of that was for the Velvet Elvis which I feel is a bit pricey for a pint, but then when you think about it...hey, it's a special batch brew you can't buy anywhere else. Plus it was good. I would definitely go there again, but I would drink more beer.

what's up with the highly priced brews?
I have always loved their beers, but hey, this is getting out of hand; there are many more quality brewskies around! I'm backing off for now, they need to check in on what the competition is doing! The food was delivered with an apology that 'the kitchen is really backed up right now' and it was piping hot, so no worries. However, it arrived right after I'd ordered a 'slider' since our food hadn't arrived so it was frustrating to deal with an appetizer then dinner immediately! I do hate it when the menu does not list the alcohol content on their beers - I like knowing whether I'm paying for a session beer or one that has more to 'watch out' for, especially if I'm driving. Either way, OB is way out there with their beer prices, I'm definitely NOT going there if I'm thirsty, nor picking up Old Chub anymore; get a grip, guys! You're dreaming!

My wife and I visited this location on our way back from Rocky Mountain National Park.
The atmosphere in the bar area downstairs is very hole in the wall with a bar, some seating for bands, a pool table, and an arcade. I didn't go upstairs to see what exactly was up there. The bartender was very nice and answered some of my questions about Oskar Blues beers.
I was able to try some beers on tap that are not found in CA (tap only and limited brews). The beers were of very good quality but they only had about 8 beers on tap from what I could tell.
My wife and I were able to enjoy some pints and play a game of pool which was pretty fun.
Overall, this is a low key place to stop and get some Oskar Blues beers in a hole in the wall feeling place.

Atmosphere- Blues themed, with lots of paintings of rock and roll and blues artists. Decor is basically similar to apple bee's, but blues themed, and more authentic feel.
Quality- Beer was poured with no head. Food was served no more than 5 minutes after we ordered it, which made it pretty clear that they did not cook it to order. This brought into question how long our food had been sitting around....
Service- When we were seated, they ran out of menus, and took quite a while for them to track menus down. Also seemed a couple times that we were being "passed off" between waiters. For instance, I asked the person who brought us our food for a refill, and she said she'd find someone to do it; made it seem like it was a hassle to ask for a refill.
Selection- Had quite a few burgers, sandwiches, and other more down home dishes, like jambalaya. If you aren't into that kind of food, you probably won't find too much. As far as beers go, expect Oskar Blues regular line up, and that's about it.
Food- Got a bbq pulled pork sandwich, and it was not good. It was dried pork, with bbq sauce from a jar poured on top basically. Something I could make at home, but better for wayyyy cheaper. The onion rings were quite good though, would definitely recommend them.
Value- The prices weren't that high, but for what you get, I would not pay that kind of money.
Overall, was very disappointed. I had heard many good things, but for me, I wasn't impressed. Could've caught them on a bad day, so I wouldn't go as far to try to sway people away from going, as it could be better other days, or maybe someone else's cup of tea, but I'd definitely keep your expectations in check.

Lunch and Happy Hour are the best times to eat with very reasonable dishes. You can taste 3 or so beers without a charge. The beers are a bit pricey, I'd recommend Old Chub and then tasting the more expensive guys.
The place is a bit large for my taste. And the decoration a bit overdone. The amazing beers compensate.
There slow smoked meat is what to get. The po boy sandwich is nice for lunch or the fish tacos for happy hour.
I have only been to the restaurant in Longmont as of yet, but I will soon be checking the other two.

Now this was truly an experience, one of which was one across a broader scope than beer. Place was easy to find, which stuck out like a sore thumb in this little town. Considering its remoteness, I pondered on what explorers thought as they passed across the topographic landscape for visual enlightenment, and they this was truly the Chimney Rock for my manifest destiny.
Sat down and was waited on. Ordered a buffalo burger and fries, and while waiting had a variation of a porter which to this day I'm unsure was ever bottled. Then naturally had to have a Ten Fidy on draft. The food came and wow. I remember I had the Sante Fe version, and the sandwich was so thick I could barely get my mouth around it. When I finished, I had wished I wore a bib because guacamole was everywhere. Went down to the basement and found a whole bar, which was virtually a blues club. A band was to play that night but I didn't stick around. There even was an arcade there in case some little Schroeder was tempermental to bid his time.
As good as Avery was as a brewpub experience and brewery, this was as good as the broad micro-Applebys experience. And when I say good in both instances, I say great. If you want good beer and good food... and have a family for that matter (with a designated driver) this is the premier choice I have seen. PERFECT SCORE.
