On tap at Waterford Waterfront Hotel. Lots of flavor for a low abv pale ale. Pours amber with a thick white head. Smell is sweet and hops. Taste is correct for a pale ale, hoppy and citrus. Feel is a bit light, but okay. Overall a decent pale ale. Worthy of a try.

A 330ml can with a BB of June 2018. Acquired a while back from a webshop. Described on the label as their original pale ale; hopped with Cascade and Summit.
A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned. A rich amber hue with intense carbonation and plentiful floating sediment. Produces a huge head of fluffy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a persistent surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of grassy hops with hints of hay, subtle herbs, mild leafiness, grainy malt and earthy yeast. Decent but lacking in hop character for an APA.
T: Tastes of light aromatic hops with notes of grass/hay, mild herbs, subtle spice, leafiness, grainy malt, ale yeast and earthiness. Pretty dry, followed by a crisp, understated bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body for the strength. Mildly astringent. Aftertaste of grassy hops, mild bitterness, grain and earthy yeast.
O: OK though not outstanding. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are more reminiscent of a well-made pilsner than an APA - grassy and herbal. Decent body. Drinkable but lacks that hoppy punch. Worth trying, just don't expect too much.

Dry hopped cask pint at Bierhouse in Cork.
Absolutely turbid. Most opaque, hop smoothie I've ever seen. Burns the mouth with lot's of pure alpha and hop particulate. Interesting, but not overly appetizing. A good IPA on cask but the extra oomph might have been overkill.

Can't really rate look as I'm drinking from the can, but overall it's a fine, hoppy APA. Nice

From the new canning line down at the brewery in Waterford. Nicely balanced, enjoyable hit of hops. Prefer a bottle but what the hell it's a fine ale.

Drank from a can. 33cl. Best before July 2015 (so guessing about 7 months old?). Decent APA from Metalman. Had drank before on draught and enjoyed. This is a very good Irish APA. Not so strong on hops but nice flavour and would recommend. Will buy again.

On-tap at The Norseman, Dublin, Ireland
A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high creamy off white head that died down and left a collar around the edge, patches of bubbles on the surface, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy and grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of citrusy and grassy hops along with a light amount of associated bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink. Although it is mostly dominated by hop flavors, there isn't too much in the way of bitterness.
