Clear copper gold in color. White head.

This beer is a little more malty than weekend warrior. Bready malts with floral and pine hops. A dose of citrus mixed in as well. Very earthy.

I'd say this is a fairy average ipa. Ends sticky. I'd pick something over this one next time.

Canned April 23, 2013.

Pours out a burnt orange with a dissipating white head. Excessive (for my tastes) yeast suspends in the glass. Smells of citrus oil, sugary dough, and mild alcohol. Upfront hop flavor of grapefruit and orange is initially pleasing, but is followed by a heavy sweetness and leads into an excellent bitter finish. Finishes sticky and dry with bitterness lingering on the tongue. Mouthfeel is slick with medium carbonation.

This is an IPA on the maltier/sweeter side, but with a nice hop profile and accessible packaging it is a solid beer. Not amazing, but a good local product.
