Serving type - 22oz caged and corked bottle

Appearance - Dark tan/black with a monster 5+ inch creamy, foamy head and tons of lacing.

Smell - Roasted malts, creamy chocolate, chili's, raisin, honey, molasses, brown sugars, smoke, spices.

Taste - First sip is a nice mix of chili warmth, sugars, honey, cinnamon, ginger, some fruits and a little chocolate. Not overly sweet but fairly warm. Plenty of honey and ginger in each sip. The chocolate is masked under the chili and sugars but still is noticeable. The spices add a little Belgium like flavor.

Mouthfeel - The malts and chili coat the tongue with roasty and warmth flavors. Palate gets more of the same with sugars, honey and fruits. The aftertaste is a little malty and smokey.

Overall - Different, but enjoyable. Not as chocolate forward as you might expect. Really does have chili warmth along with lots of cinnamon and spice. This reminds me of a winter warmer more then a milk stout. I like it, a nice change up from standard chili stouts, glad I got to try and would drink again.

Thanks to cw577enfield for this one!

A swampy, coffee brown body produces a full four fingers of lively khaki tan head. Naturally, tons of lace with gushing beading beneath.

Some very apparent cola aromas with ginger, milk chocolate and spice. Interesting.

Again... it's interesting. A prickly cola mouthfeel is layered with tobacco, cocoa, molasses, cream, and a smoky chipotle pepper on the finish. I'm shocked to learn that there are Scotch Bonnets and Habaneros involved. I don't get the sort of spice you would expect from those varieties but, thankfully, I also don't get any vegetative substitutes. Mildly spicy with a touch of BBQ smoke.

Thanks for the opportunity to try this unique beer!
