Appearance. Pours a dark chestnut brown, pretty much black in the glass with almost two fingers of light tan head that fades fairly fast.

Smell. Roasty and grainy dark malts, black coffee and sweet bakers chocolate with a slight lactic/metalic sourness.

Taste. Creamy black coffee, some sweet chocolate and roasty malts, and a very light lactic sourness and a hint of maple.

Mouthfeel. Medium, slick body with medium+ carbonation.

Overall. A very nice milk stout. I enjoyed it much more than the Left Hand milk stout I had recently.

Phillip's Brewing 'Leviathon Milk Stout' @ 5.5% , served from a 650 ml bottle purchased for $6

A-pour is deep dark brown with a tan/off white head that is dissapating as make I notes , leaving a lace ring along the pint glass

S-sweet and sugary , some fresh coffee grounds in the back ,

T-sweet tasting , smooth chocolate malt crispness to it

MF-a mild medium carbonation , medium to full body , smooth on the palate

Ov-good beer , for a good cause

this beer was released on Jan21/13 from Phillip's alongside Twisted Oak Scotch Ale
& Bottle Rocket ISA
