Not a lot to say about Odell that probably hasn't been said before. The new facility is MASSIVE so there's a ton of room, seats, and tables. Everything has a wood finish and there are probably 30-40 tables, hundreds of chairs, a large patio, and plenty of standing room, too. That said, keep in mind that the place is also very popular and it WILL fill in during peak times.
As for the beer, they sell bottles, pints, samples, 1/2 pints, clothing, and pretty much anything else you can imagine although they really don't have much in the way of food most of the time.
What kinds of beer are available? They have their entire everyday line-up always ready to go and they tend to have 7-8 small batch items and seasonals at any one time, too.
They keep 3 sampler options available all of the time so you can get a little bit of everything. The normal tray has items like Cutthroat, Easy Street, and 90 Shilling. They have a "pilot tray" with their seasonals and rarities (Mountain Standard, Red, DIPA) and maybe a one-off or two. Finally, they have a "co-pilot" tray typically featuring brewery-only items and ultra-special items like Woodcut. They offer description cards for the beers, but the staff doesn't always seem to know much about what they have.
BA members get a free tray and prices for the other trays and pints are only $4-7 each.
Odell is pretty much the cornerstone for all of my Ft. Collins trips and I don't see that changing any time soon.
The only real negative is that even with all of the space the place tends to get really crowded during the months when the patio is closed. When it's busy they can be pretty slow in busing out tables and spots when people have left.

Great location to drink. The tour of the facility was the best I have had. The staff are tremendously helpful, knowledgable and friendly. They have a very streamlined process for ordering and paying, their sampler had an incredible display of their range. The bourbon barrel aged beer you got to try for free on the tour was fantastic. I could easily spend the whole day in their trying everything they had on tap and probably not be able to try them all.
I highly recommend visiting this brewery, it was fun and educational. I wish I could get their beer out on the East Coast.

This is one of the best breweries in the state.
With so many craft breweries popping up all over Colorado, these guys just seem to brew only great beers.
When I am in Fort Collins, I always make my way to Odell's.
I heard they are doing another expansion, to make the tap room even bigger with and outside stage area and really making the experience better, the only complaint I could possibly have is when they are having an event, it can get a little too crowded. But as far as the beer goes, it absolutely the best I have tried.
It is must go to if you are anywhere in Colorado.

This brewery is one that should be bigger and more known. It's quaint in size, but they're known for their massive hoppy beers. I had the pleasure of living a couple miles away, and I miss it everyday. I had many fun, memorable days playing corn hole, drinking delicious brews, hanging with good, real people, and watching Odell grow in popularity in the short time I lived in FoCo. I can't wait to go back. Maybe someday they'll ship out here to Florida... In terms of food, they always seem to have "Jax Seafood" tent setup outside. The seafood is quality for being in Colorado, but I'm from the beach, I have had some of the best and most fresh seafood around. So I am a little biased. IPA, Myrcenary, Cutthroat Porter, Wooden Elephant (when available), St. Lupulin are just a few of the must try beers.

Caught this place on an afternoon when it was the finish line of a bike race so the atmosphere was festive and the place was hopping. It is fairly large place which suited the day well. Despite it being so busy, the service was outstanding and the servers were great. The service was quick at the bar and at table. The staff is very knowledgeable and took time with the customers even with how busy it was. The beers are fantastic, as well. They have all types to fit a variety of beer tastes. Can't say enough good things about the place. Enjoyed the afternoon I spent there thoroughly and will definitely make it a point to hit this place again next time I'm in Fort Collins.

Next stop, Odell. Unlike New Belgium, parking is plentiful, even during the week of Great American Beer Festival. Delivery trucks sporting the Odell logo sit above the parking lot, perched on a hill. A winding sidewalk leads the way into the taproom and brewery.
No surprise, the place was busy. One of the first things you come across when you enter is the line to order your beer. It's nice to see there's a formal place to make your order (unlike New Belgium) and collect your order on the other side of the bar. And it's very organized too, as multiple pick-up stations prevent orders from being mixed up, so props to Odell for developing an unorthodox (yet very workable) model for service.
20 different beers on-tap, plus a cask. Variety is the key, as it ranges from year round beers (Easy Street Wheat, Cutthroat Porter, Odell IPA) to more experimental beers (Meddler, Bourbon Porter, Proletarat). With pints starting at $4 (and available in pre-set flights and half-pints), it makes trying the entire family a lot easier.
There's no food served on sight unless you're lucky enough to catch a food truck. We were lucky to catch a Naples-styled pizzeria cooking on sight, which aided in the absorption of alcohol.
I'm unable to purchase Odell in California, so I was very happy to visit and sample what I can't. Arguably one of the most underrated production breweries in the country, in my opinion, and a must visit.

Stopped here while in Colorado for work. Actually, made it a destination. OK, I'll be truthful, I orchestrated the whole "work trip" just to visit Odell. I had recently been introduced to Odell by the recommendation of a co-worker while in Missouri, as sadly, Odell is not available in most states to which I travel.
First Odell I tried was Myrcenary- double IPA. Absolutely AWESOME! I knew at that first sip, I must go to this place they call "Odell". Very cool atmosphere, very nice, inviting interior with ample seating. I brought along my 2 year old daughter (designated driver) and my lady friend, and we had a great time. They had some live music outside and it was just a cool vibe. Very friendly staff.
Food was sparse, though I'll admit I can't remember the whole small menu, we just grabbed some chips and salsa to munch on. Salsa was awesome by the way. Beer was phenomenal, had Myrcenary and the porter. (OK, a few Myrcenary's). I should have done a flight or two since I am relatively new to this company, but next time.
They close kind of early also, like 7 PM on the Saturday we were there. Actually was "prompted" to move along a little after 7. Not a deal breaker, but I would have liked to hang longer.
Worth a stop if you are in Ft. Collins. Worth a drive if you are anywhere near this place. I can't wait to go back.

Great wide open space with retail merchandise to your right when you walk in. Outside area was packed the day I was there very nice day outside who could blame them. The cashiers are in the front of the bar with the taps on the left side. You order from the cashier who are very helpful then you pick the beer sample up at the end of the bar.
They had self help water cooler with plastic cups to help clean your palate. I also ordered local brie cheese and crackers I wish the cheese wasn't so cold took a while to warm up so you could spread it with plastic knive.
Odell's main stay beer are good which I had a sample of all of them but I tried another sample which they called the Co-Pilot Tray. Which has to be one of the best sampler I've had. St. Lupulian Extra Pale, Myrcenary Double IPA, Red Squared, Belgian Old Ale aged in oak and Xocolatl.
Overall a great visit.

A bright, open, clean joint. Laid back with a chill, positive vibe. The set up of ordering with a cashier and the collecting your order down the line was kinda odd but whatever. The service was solid, with the employees having a general handle of the beers on hand and ensured things went smoothly and quickly. Great selection, all the staples that they bottle plus around a ton of pilot brews that are only available there. Kinda pricey, I could actually buy a sixer of their beer cheaper at Target than at their taproom. Go figure. Overall, glad I went and I will definitely be back.

a place ive wanted to go for a long time. i was surprised by how big it is. really quite a large facility, good homestyle feel to it, but massive tasting room with some outside seating. only room for 2 on the tour by the time we arroved, so i let the out of staters go and enjoyed a pint of footloose on the back patio. lots of taps happening, with plenty on offer that doesnt get bottled. tasting flights were all good, but the serivce was not good. people seemed not to care, business minded, with nothing much to be excited about. come on, you have a sweeet job. my brother liked the tour and was impressed they let the employees brew on the smaller system experimentally. i love everything i had there, but paid a reasonably high price for it all. overall a place i will definitely be back to, and a brewery i will continue to support, but the tasting room experience was less than i had hoped for, mostly because of the people, not because of the brew.
