Poured from a growler into a snifter glass

If you like sweet stouts this one is awesome!

A: Pours a pitch black with a very small brown head that dissipates quickly

S: Extremely sweet..tons of chocolate, vanilla and sugar. Very little alcohol is noticeable and little to no hop presence.

T: This one is like drinking chocolate and vanilla. Incredible chocolate flavor with some awesome full vanilla bean back it up. A slight hint of coffee brings up the rear and the hop presence is minimal.

M: Very smooth. Good carbonation with a velvety texture.

O: A wonderful sweet stout. I am just sad that it was a one-off at the brewery. If someone you know has a growler make sure to drink it soon (they don't seal them well) and get them to share!

On-tap at Freshcraft the beer arrives in a pint glass, opaque black with no little penetrating, with a 1 finger brown head, some retention and a good amount of lacing. The nose is a wonderful blend of chocolate, vanilla, and malty sweetness. No alcohol heat or hop character detected. The vanilla is more prominent in the flavor and blends well with the chocolate. A hint of coffee rounds the pleasant flavors. Extremely approachable and rich. Mild bitterness with perhaps a touch of earthy hops. Smooth and creamy with good carbonation. Finishes clean and smooth with a lingering vanilla chocolate. Overall, this is tremendous. Extremely enjoyable.
