This beer looks good and has a reasonable head but after that there's little to inspire here. A sulphury nose with some fruit can't do much to spice up a rather hollow centre which is ringed by some simple earthiness. Can't realy see how this can be called a 90 Shilling.
Classic case of a wannabe.

Serving Type: 12 oz bottle, poured into Odell snifter glass.

A - Beautiful copper color at the rim with a rich amber at core of snifter. Dense, creamy head that persists through most of the session with a nice lacing as well.

S - A sweet toasted malt, biscuity, citrusy fruit, and mild hints of mint

T - Exceptional malt and hops balance, sweet toasty malt is the first to appear with a nicely balanced citrusy hop following fast on its heals. The two play off one another throughout with a nice caramel and hop bitterness balance and a subtle hint of mint towards the end

M - Creamy. smooth

O - This is a world class Scottish Ale from Odell. A fantastic beer in all regards. One of my favorites because even though it is well-balanced, it still makes you think as you enjoy it. Not to mention it's sessionable ABV.
