Pours black with a nice mocha head that quickly recedes. Alright lacing. A roasty aroma filled with a good dose of cinnamon, some nice sugary sweetness from the oats, some cranberry, and a tease of some chocolate hiding out there as well. This beer is definitely on the sweeter side of things. Flavor follows the aroma quite well. A fuller, creamy mouthfeel, the oats did their job. Overall, another solid brew from Odell.

Poured out of growler into an Odell pint glass
A- deep and dark murky brown with a tinge of crimson. Nice creamy and bubbly two finger head. And as the drink goes down there are layers and layers of lacing
S- smells like thanksgiving! Pumpkin spice, candied yams, citrus, cranberry marmalade, roasted coffee, etc. Lots going on in this.
T- Nice roasted malts with an ever so faint hint of chocolate. Pumpkin pie. Cranberry stuffing lingering in the background. Might be my mind, but almost has a slight meatyness to it....like bacon or beef or something i cant put my hand on. Has a great quality that tastes like you're actually drinking Thanksgiving!
M- on the lighter side of medium body as a porter should be. Nice prickly carbonation to give you all those layers of flavors. A tad astringent, but not bad at all.
O- One of my favorite porters ever. Though, I definitely could not drink all year round. Something to sip by the fire. This should definitely become a winter seasonal. And if it becomes that, then I would most definitely drink all winter long. Excellent job, Odell.

Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of a tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong cinnamon, hint of roasted malt, slight sweet malt, slight spice, and a hint of citrus. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong cinnamon, sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, hint of hops, and slight citrus. Overall, the sweetness is clearly present through a strong porter base. The spice and citrus are a great addition to the brew. Great appearance, good aroma, feel, body, and blend.
