Intresting story behind the name, you'll have to ask while in the tap room.
a-nice amber color with inch head and lively carbonation.
s-biscuts, some hops, and bready aromas.
t-has good crisp malts, biscut, and good hops behind it all. I agree, that this is more complex then your average amber ale. Has a refreshing taste to it.
m-clean and crisp, with some decent body.
o-glad they brewed this again. Have not had this for years. Good pilot brew with some good qualities.

Pours a amberish golden with a thick cream colored head. Aroma is doughy, some caramel, and even slightly fruity. Flavor was impressive for an amber; doughy, caramel, a hint of some toffee, a little fruity, and a kiss of some hops in there as well. A medium bodied, some activity, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a very nice take on an amber. I kinda wonder why they went with Levity over this as their bottled amber. Both are quite good but I think this one is actually better.

On tap during the 2011 Small Batch Festival.
Pours a deep dark mahogany copper with mahogany edges and frothy 2 finger yellowish head. Excellent retention slowly fading into a lasting cap that leaves chunks of lacing behind.
Slightly toasted malt aroma with hints of light fruit, caramel, toffee and biscuit. Smells more complex than your average amber.
Full bodied with a creamy texture and a good balance of toasty malt and subtle hop bite. Toasted but not burnt with hints of light fruit and floral hops. Sweet with slight dry finish.
