12oz bottle, best by April 16, 2013. About 2 months old. Served at around 45F.

Pours semi-hazy amber with a two finger off-white head that leaves rings of bubbly and drippy lacing

Aroma is big time pineapple, mango, tropical fruit, floral hops, some apricot, caramel, hint of pine and orange rind. Good to very good strength.

Flavor is fruity hops, tropical fruit, mango, melon, pineapple, resinous hops, some citrus, apricot, decent bit of caramel malt, mild to moderate sweetness, good bitterness, some alcohol on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, oily and a bit sticky, good carbonation.

Excellent Double IPA and a real treat to get to try this. Big thanks to Mark for this one. Every hoppy beer I’ve had from Odell has been excellent...they sure know there way around some hops!

Hazy golden yellow with just the slightest bit of orange hue, and a small white head that sticks around. Leaves a good lacing.

Nice citrusy and floral hop aroma, with just a tad of pine and a small bready malt base if I try hard. Very hop forward, which is something I love in IPA's, especially doubles.

Complex hop combo that is much more about the flavor and aroma than bitterness. Plenty of the citrusy, fruity, floral and piney hops all meshing together perfectly in a super hop forward but not a crazy smack in the face way. Getting the bready, cracker malts which blends really nicely too.

Moderate body and carbonation with a very creamy smooth overall feel. Not heavy despite the size. Very nice.

Very nice DIPA - way more mellow than I expected from the aroma, but totally works. You'd never guess this was such a huge beer, considering how smooth and easy drinking it is, but you know it's a DIPA because of the complex hop explosion. Highly recommended.
