Another new brew in Wichita. Served on tap in a chilled chalice.

Poured with a very thin head that quickly disappeared with no lacing. Body was a dark brown, no light passed through this one.

Aroma was disappointing. A hint of roasted malt and coffee. A warmer serving might help this.

Taste was roasted malt, dark coffee. A hint of vanilla bean and what seemed to be a touch of anise. Complexity was there, but I couldn't put my finger on the exact flavors. Again, a warmer serving might help.

Mouthfeel was sweet, but still smooth. A good combination.

This leaned more to the Imperial Stout line thana porter.
