Stopped in here tonight after weeks of nagging myself. Easy place to find, easier than it was a couple months ago when I was going help grow some hops. Oh well. Parking sucks, but that's Denver for ya.
Medium sized, open patio with German beer hall-like benches. I like that type of seating. Three garage doors open to reveal the inside portion. Scattered square and circular tables. Nice L-shaped bar. Interior is 'industrial' in the look. Metal plating around the bar.
A knee-wall separates the brewing facility from the bar. No glass separation so it must smell nice when brewing.
Chalk board on the end of the L-bar lists beers, but kind of hard to see from the other end. No wait staff, bar service only. No biggie
Friendly service. The beer is really nice. They're all seasonal, I was told. The flight of 7 beers was $7...not a bad deal. Each beer was $5 except the session which was $4. Food consists of large pretzels/mustard, and a vendor booth outside...pizza tonight. I didn't try it.
Overall , this is a nice place to have some brews. I'll be heading back for sure

I would keep coming back for the graham cracker porter. I wish I would have tried more, but I did also have samples of the lime wheat (which I didn't care for at all) and the scotch on scotch (very good). The pricing was awesome, and even though they were packed I didn't wait long. The limited staff was on their shit. I wish they distributed.

Denver Beer Co. is a converted auto repair garage. There is a patio in the front (beer garden) with picnic tables and a few umbrellas. It's dog friendly and several people had their pooches sitting and enjoying the beautiful early evening Denver weather. The inside is smaller than it seems: a few tables for two or four and some bar stools. You have to go to the bar to get a beer. The only service I saw was a woman picking up glasses and cleaning tables after someone left.
The selection of beers is small: five or six I think. We sat outside and my friend got a couple of beers and I got something from the food truck. Well, the food from the truck was good but the beer wasn't. They apparently don't care about the quality of the beer here.
We got the Incredible Petal IPA and the beer was flat. We asked the woman bussing tables if anyone said anything about the bad Incredible Petal IPA. She said, "We've been having problems with it." When I told the bartender that the Incredible Petal was flat he said the same thing, "We've been having problems with it." Then he walked away.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who likes a good beer.

Open garage doors, board games, lots of seating, dogs allowed, large patio with hops plants.... What about the atmosphere can you not love about this place? I wish they had a more consistent beer list. Do not get me wrong I love experimentation, but with more than 8 taps I think you should have a few beers that are always there. They brought back their GABF winning Graham Cracker Porter and have Kaffir Lime Wheat on tap during the summer, but most of the beers rotate too frequently.
The blessing and curse of DBC is their location. With so much foot traffic they often sell through beers in no time. However, this typically means they need to put beers on tap that definitely need more time just to keep up with demand.
Overall I would suggest people should visit this place while visiting Denver or to enjoy the sun on a nice weekend.

As far as a place to hang out, this is one of the best that Denver has to offer. Based in an old auto body repair shop, the space is just really striking. It’s all open air during the summer and boasts a great beer garden area. The brewery even has board games if you care to partake. Not any food other than warm pretzels. The beers are fairly average, but the venue makes it well worth a visit.

Pretty big place that looks like it could have been some type of garage prior to being transformed into the brewery. Competely opened front of building when I was there so the sitting area inside and outdoor beer garden meshed together, lots of seating and all needed as the place was packed. The place allows dogs too which is awesome and earns them a few extra brownie points from me. A nice selection of around 10 or so beers on tap, nice variety of styles to choose from. I was pretty happy with everything I tried, there was just one dud and the stuff I liked more than made up for it. Service was fair, sometimes better than others but it was busy so that is a likely cause. The biggest complaint was that they had no interest in explaining their beers. You had to ask specifically about each individual beer and they just gave a standard monotone answer, I think it would have worked a lot better if they simply had a beer menu hanging around that provided those explanations. Overall, some nice beer, a really cool environment. Worth a visit for sure.

This place is a great addition to Denver. The location is great, and the building is pretty cool. The beers are pretty good. They have a few different beers than your normal IPA, PA, Stout. I had a pineapple beer that was quite refreshing. When I was there they had an excellent food truck outside making some fancy food for reasonable prices. They also had a bluegrass band playing that was excellent. Besides Falling Rock this is my favorite beer destination in Denver.

Stopped here to meet a BA as part of my reverse beer haul expedition. Only had a pint or two so don't put too much credence in the quality, although I was happy with what I had. The place did have a nice atmosphere, with a large open door allowing fresh air to come in. Outdoor seating was available as well. Yet another brewery in Denver with many more to come. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
