On tap at Old Orange Brewing Company in Orange, CA.
Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and some fruity aromas. Taste is much the same with a slightly funky flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer but not done all that well in my opinion.

This is one of my all time favorite American Strong Ales. I can't get over how smooth it is, especially considering it hasn't been aged! I hope they do try to barrel age this just to see what happens. But for a beer with such high alcohol content, I can't believe how smooth it is! Great malt flavor.... Yummmm!

On-tap at Old Orange
A: The pour is an amber color with a small ring of off-white head.
S: For such a high alcohol beer, this has a very mild nose. Some interesting spice/herb aromas such as cinnamon and possibly mint. Definitely some booze along with a bit of brown sugar. Not very good.
T: The flavor is similarly bland. There is a mild spice as well as a bit of sweet, toasted bread. Like with the nose, there is some booze and a bit of cinnamon. On the palate, there is also some banana and toffee.
M: This one is about medium in body with a medium carbonation.
O: I’d be fine not having this again. Really nothing going on that I enjoyed.
