While not as flavorful as their Half Court IPA, Lost River Summer is a good beer. It is has a high drink-ability, but without the watery flavor and blandness of other highly drinkable beers (ie: standard American Lagers). The taste, though not as rich as Half-Court, is still quite round and three-dimensional.

Easily drinkable and great for any day, especially on a hot summer day. Craft Brew Heads may not be too interested in it but if you're wanting to take the leap from the main stream to a craft brew this is definitely one to try. Overall I like it but it wouldn't be my first choice in deciding on a beer to drink.

I classified this as an American Blonde Ale as it only says Summer Ale on the bottle and couldn't find info on their webpage. It seems the closest.
Pours a pale color with a very small white head and lots of bubbles.
Smells of yeasty toasty malts. Hard to detect many hops in the nose, but maybe a bit of spiciness.
A little bit of spiciness hits the palate at first and then rounds into a yeasty malt character at the end. Finishes a bit dry. The only knock is a slight funkiness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is pretty light with high carbonation. Just what I would expect from this style.
Pretty decent beer. Nothing special, but a solid easy drinking beer and the price is right ($3.69 a bomber when I picked it up) to make this a go too summer beer when I'm craving something local and lighter.
