Notes:
Deep golden in color, this low ABV lager balances Pilsner and Munich malt with an aromatic American hop aroma. This beer starts hoppy but finishes unexpectedly malty with very low bitterness. Impressively flavorful and drinkable for the lightest beer we brew. We dub this beer a "Session Lager," as we once again brew a lager in a beer style of its own. Uses local Soft Red Winter Wheat from Four Star Farms.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer covering the surface and patches of large bubbles around the sides
S: Moderate aromas of floral and spicy noble hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has notes of pilsener malts towards the finish along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is extremely easy to drink and is perfectly sessionable.

Jabby Brau pours a clear gold color with a small, creamy head on top. The foam fades away quickly leaving behind lines and spots of lace on the glass.
The aroma has nice soft notes of orange citrus, pale malt and some light fruit.
Each sip of this light to medium bodied beer is creamy with moderate carbonation. The flavor begins with malty sweetness and a little cereal. Light fruit notes of mango appear in the middle. It finishes with some hoppy notes of orange and lemon citrus. Once gone the sweet cereal malt and citrus flavor lingers on the palate.
This is an easy drinking, well balanced beer. I could definitely drink a couple of these at one sitting.

Deleted my previous review. Interested party over my shoulder.
Had to down grade my first review. Nice aroma and color. Balance of bitter and malt is very good, not great. Mouth feel is the issue- tastes dissipates too quickly and is watery. It's comparable to a taking a lick off a lollipop. There are better and cheaper IPL's and Imperial Pilsner's out there.

(copied from blog - written January 12, 2013)
Appearance – Golden-yellow more on the yellow side.
Smell – Citrusy and floral hops.
Taste – Same as smell… finishes smooth with a malty sweetness.
This lager is crisp, clean and smooth with a burst of flavorful floral hops and citrus up front that goes down easy and leaves a nice sweet bready taste in your mouth. This is one of the three staples in Jack’s Abby Brewery’s year-round brews and rightfully so. At 4 and a half percent ABV, this is their “session” offering and compared to their heavy hitting Black Lager and India Pale Lager it sure seems that way but don’t be fooled into thinking this is just any old regular lager because it has the character to prove otherwise.
