Appearance is a rye and pours a half inch and the nose is of rye and like others the rye makes this a stellar ipa for me as I like rye ipas. The mouthfeel is moderate. Overall, I really enjoy this offering. Interesting I stayed away as I didn't think this was a worthy IPA but after enjoying two and on a third this is a worthy offering.

First had: bottle, as an extra in a trade from--I think--dazedandconfused

Clear copper pour with a fizzy white head that receded to a thin ringlet, slight lacing. Meek aroma, floral, grassy, toasted grains. Taste was hop-driven, bitter, slightly metallic, again floral and grassy, light biscuity malts and toasted grains. A pretty average IPA all in all. Light-medium body, slightly sticky, with the bitterness lasting into the aftertaste. Decent.

Had this one out of a bottle and into a pint glass at the greatest little beer bar on planet earth--The Porter, in Atlanta.

The body is a dark orangey amber with a nice head that actually stays about a finger tall for the duration.

With the aroma, the sweetness shares the same airspace as hoppyness. I'm picking up a caramel marmalade along with the floral and citrusy Cascade and Magnum hops.

This brew has a great and unique flavor to it, that I think has something to do with the use of rye in the malt. I'm noticing a lot of balance here with the Maris Otter malt bass, spicy rye notes, and hop bitterness.

The mouthfeel is heavy, with a crisp zesty carbonation.

Overall a fantastic brew, that I would most definitely recommend.

Had this on tap last year while visiting GA and out of the bottle just a few days ago, while visiting GA... bottle version was much more impressive than tap but my guess is that the main reason was that these guys now have a legit brewery and are working out the quirks of their new system.

Pours a deep orange hue with a white head.

Nose; floral and some grassiness, a bit of citrus.

Taste; in typically GA Ipa fashion, it's hoppy (more on the grassy/herbal side) but with a restrained bitterness, clean and quite drinkable. Nothing to write home about but I was pleasantly surprised and honestly impressed. Next time I'm in the ATL area, I look forward to visiting their facility.

Mouthfeel; clean and a bit slick. Wouldn't call it crisp but very drinkable.

Overall; if you're in the area, definitely worth trying.

Pours a bronze orange. Little head no lacing.

The nose is pretty mild and uninspiring. Light malt sweetness.

Taste is suble malty orange jam.

Extremely low carbonation, nearly flat mid-way through the glass.

It's beer and I'm drinking it, but I don't forsee drinking it again.

I have to echo some of the reviews below: this beer is good but not a true IPA. It pours well and has a refreshing mouth feel. Very similar to other GA beers as far as flavor profile is concerned; worth giving a shot if you are in te area but not worth driving out for.

Had this on tap at firkin and griffin. Amber color not much head by the time I got the beer. For an IPA this had pretty weak hop flavor. Closer to a pale ale. The beer was very drinkable though and had a pleasant flavor, just not an IPA. If they could up the hop profile this beer has potential.
