A: Hazy bright orange to yellow color, large off white head, good lacing
S: Caramely malts, bright piney hops
T: I get the caramel malt taste right up front then a nice bitter piney hop balance
M: Light to medium
O: A really good beer. The name is correct, it drinks and tastes like a smooth, clean pilsner just made like an ale.

Pours a hazy deep straw producing 3 fingers of shaving cream foamy, brilliantly white, lasting head that leaves rings, strings & webs of lace. Aroma is sweet with notes of biscuit & cracker, lightly fruity with hints of spice, lemon & grass. Taste is sweet Pilsner hoppiness with ale yeast. Notes of biscuit, soda cracker, honey, fruit, pepper, floral & grassy hops. Starts with some sweetness then rapidly cascades into a bitter, dry finish. Aftertaste is dry with a hint of sweetness & lightly bitter. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with medium-high carbonation, creamy, lightly oily, prickly & dry in the latter half of the sip.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma is mostly malt with some grain. The taste is full of grain with some malt, could be better; but not bad.
