This is a great little bottle shop. The owners are awesome and very informative. They will go out of their way to try and find a beer you are looking for. Prices are pretty average for the area. They mostly serve singles but do have some 4 and 6 packs as well. This is one of the top places in NE PA for harder to find beer.

The father/son team that run J&H beer are two of the kindest people you'll ever meet. After coming in there a few times, they will go out of their way to say hello and shake your hand. And they ask questions to try to find out what you're looking for. And they get their hands on beers we rarely see if the NEPA area, if at all. Daisy Cutter, Sculpin, Bruery releases, Clown Shoes Space Cake are just a few of the rarer(for NEPA) brews they've gotten in the last few days. They will always be my first stop for whatever I am looking for. They've held beer for me without question and ordered stuff in for me. It's a little on the pricey side, but with no food or anything else to offset the cost, they have to make money somewhere. Highly recommended.
They also just added growler fills to their services and currently have a keg of Bruery Humulus-another rarity for the area. Get there soon!

Made a trip down to PA. This was the second shop I stopped at. Their prices were higher, on everything, than the first place I stopped. Sold mostly singles. And far less variety if you were looking for a six pack. Also the place is kind of small so it can get cramped in there very easy

This is by far my favorite bottle shop in the area. Jon and Harry are both great guys and really know their stuff. The selection is not the best in the area but what they do have is the good stuff and not a lot of filler like other places have. They are more than willing to answer questions, take your name and number and call you about a beer, order beers for you, etc. The area they are in is easy to get to and there is always plenty of parking. I really hope they expand their store to try and squeeze some new beers/brands in but everything else is great. Their prices are slightly higher than the grocery stores etc. in the area but the service and selection make up for it.

I'd only recently heard of J & H, but decided to make a trek down there. Immediately upon entering, I knew I would like it. Owners were knowledgeable and quite friendly.

A decent sized selection of domestic craft's, and a fair selection of imports. They carried two of my favorites (New Holland Dragons Milk), and Founders Breakfast Stout, so I left a very happy customer - and they've definitely gained a repeat customer.

Prices were quite fair all around. And seemed about right for this area. The owners did make mention of beer tasting events. I will look forward to attending some of those.

This is my go to place for craft beer. You can find pretty much any style of beer out there and some beers that I didn't think I could find outside of Philadelphia, i.e Avery's Maharaja.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they really get to know you if you're a regular.

If there's a beer that you don't see or if there's a specialty beer from a brewery they will try to get it in.

All in all my favorite place to go, every time I go in I don't leave for about 25 minutes because I'll get into a beer conversation with the guys.

This is a great new bottle shop in NEPA. Very nice selection here with good quality beer and decent prices. Some brewery highlights: The Bruery, Rochefort, Port Brewing, Terrapin, Ballast Point, Ommegang, Bell's, Cigar City and Dupont.. Selection will only get bigger and better. They are also always willing to order anything you want. I haven't tried the food here because I haven't heard great things.

Very friendly service all around. Always willing to talk beer and are always taking suggestions on what to stock.
