A friend sent this 22oz from SoCal.
Poured in a St Bernardus chalice.
Small brown head ... some lace.
Aroma of citrus hops and herbal spice.
Flavors of citrusy hops, white pepper, burnt malts, funky tropical fruit rind, grapefruit rind. Flavorful and bold in the hops but many flavors that are not as inviting, such as astringency and funky water flavors.

I bought 2 cases @ the brewery in 2010 drunk them slowly and they were fantastic and then i open one today 5-29-13 and it totally kick ass, no loss of carbonation just mellow. I am a brewer and I thought was excellent. the hops were perfect with a really good mouth feel. nice color, bouquet, and maltiness. damn fine beer!!!

Clear copper. creamy light beige head. oily cap. Great sticky sheets of lace.
Big resinous grapefruit and citrus. Spicy floral and pine. some toastiness and caramel.
Grapefruit and resin. Spicy floral and citrus. Pine. Light sweet caramel biscuit backing. Big resin bitterness.
Sticky, drying medium body with mellow carbonation. Hop bite astringency.
Very drinkable and tasty hop forward brew. Love the C's. Get some my fellow hopheads.

Pours a mild amber with a one-finger head into my glass. Average color for the style. I always like the brighter ones.
A lot of pine hop essence upfront in the nose. Not much to go by otherwise. The ABV is the first sign that this may not actually be an Imperial IPA.
The taste reflects the aroma. There is more of a focus on pine than citrus with the hop selection.
Bitterness with biscuity bread make up the mouthfeel. Wow. The alcohol is still quite strong, despite the lack of ABV.
Hopheads should definitely check this out.

7 C-hops in all: Crystal, Cluster, Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus, Challenger, at 100 IBU.
This billing alone is mouth-watering. The aroma lends grapefruit mostly, citrus on the palate, smooth creamy finish. Lacing was very persistent, and a bomber wasn't nearly as much as I would've liked. A real treasure overall.

It is very rich in smell, nice good beer needs more imperail tatse, tatse like a regular ipa. it has a nice complextion. a nice bitterness to it hoppy with no alchol tatse but still needs more imperail overall worth a try but needs more impoerail traits to it was a bit dissapointed

Poured from a bomber into a weizen glass. Reviewed live.
A- Pours out a lovely finger width white head with a dark copper body with high clarity underneath. Thick sheets of lacing that look very nice. Appealing.
S- Pine and citrusy hops. Some peaches and pineapple make for a fruity, floral IPA. Very pleasant. Some dark bodied malts make themselves heard as well, but not loudly.
T- Strong malty backbone with piney and smooth bitter hops. Complex, not overwhelming and actually quite drinkable for a DIPA.
M- Creamy, very wet and smooth. Nice feel.
O- Very drinkable DIPA, tasty, nice smell, great feel. Really quite nice.
