Delights a Framboise flute glass gem clear cherry red with a thin, quick, fine pink head that leaves no lace. Some carbonation clings to the glass and sediment was left in the bottle.

The aroma is dominated by raspberry and a tremendous amount of oak.

This one is super tart, with raspberry and strong oak, just as the nose proclaimed it would be. Strong raspberry comes to the front in the second sip and remains throughout. Very sweet and acidic into a strong finish that becomes subtle as it lingers.

A thin body with the texture of satin and explosive carbonation. Perhaps some alcohol is detected.

This is definitely an aperitif or late night digestive. The oak is an unexpected but pleasant addition to this style. Memories of late nights in the model shop flood back to me with each sip. This one almost made it to New Year’s Eve celebration, but missed it by "that much."
