Poured from 750mL bottle into a tulip.

Appearance: light golden hue with plenty of haze and a robust effervescence. Head pours two fingers of frothy white foam with great retentive properties. A nice chunky lace is also left on the glass; quite good indeed.

Smell: sweet malt with a nice, soft apple and pear fruit character. There's a light chalkiness which smooths things out well in my opinion. On top of all of this is a very light funk which works well. A little unorthodox, but I like it.

Taste: sweetish malt flavor with a very light funk and a definite citrusy hop presence. The flavor is quite balanced and enjoyable, if a little hoppy for most tripels.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good creaminess. It doesn't blow me away, but it is good.

Overall: a very solid tripel, and a good-looking one at that. I'd have this again.

I have to admit this one surprised me. I am not much a triple man myself but found myself returning to each sip loving it more as it warmed up. The fruity notes really shined through but wasn't over powering and made the drink quit smooth and drink ability made splitting a 750 between two people quite enjoyable.

A: great head, clear, pale yellow color
S: mild nose, grass, some resemblance of saison
T: sweeter tripel but good, wished it was a bit more dry, well-balanced, not over the top with hops
M: balanced but sweeter, EtOH not noticeable but sweeter and drinkable

A hazy pale yellow with blood orange highlights in a Chimay chalice. The half-inch, creamy white head ultimately leaves a dense, creamy coating of lace that is burnished gold.

Pungent sour apple dominates with a farmhouse funkiness and overripe pears. Sweetness and some soapiness comes out with warmth.

Flavor is very tart and acidic with grapefruit bitterness. Apple and pineapple sweetness is concealed, yet present if one looks for it, in the long, light finish.

A light body with satin texture and a touch of metallic alcohol below expectations, yet clearly expressed. Carbonation is fine and prickly.

This is a good, occasional sipping beer that warms well despite the soapy aroma. I enjoyed the entire bottle.

Poured from a bomber into my Chimay goblet. Hazy apricot color. Big delicately bubbly white head that settles down into a frothy covering that shows good retention. Eventuallythe head fades to a white covering of the glass. Bubbly patches of lacing, more than most Tripels.

Smell has light fruit (apples and pears), some lemon zest and a little funk. Missing the usual candi sugar and yeast.

Tastes pretty good. Not a standard Tripel but still features big flavors. The light fruit and sweetness are there, so is the spiciness (black pepper). This beer hides the alcohol well like most good Tripels. The Belgian yeast flavor is missing (often tastes like ripe cheese). Candi sugar not really there either. There is plenty of lemon zest and a little funk (like the Saison du Buff series).

Mouthfeel is rich like a Tripel should be. The pepper spiciness is good too.

Overall a pretty good, if not a typical Tripel

A- murky kind of blonde straw color, big creamy head

S- bubble gum, peachy, grassy, hay, lychee

T- nice bubble gum and grassy sweetness, but nothing special

M- nice and thin, not syrupy or thick in the least

O- decent entry level tripel. didn't leave me wanting more but wasn't a drain pour.

Poured from a bomber into a snifter, the beer is a bright, opaque, orange-gold coloring with a thin, filmy coating of white froth. Aromas of light citrus, biscuits, and earthy tones. The beer smells lighter and fruitier than most Tripels. Flavors are tangy sweet, with a honey and citrus backbone supporting currant and cherry highlights, as well as some light coriander and clove spicing. The beer is light and smooth in mouth, with a spiced aftertaste. Smooth, slightly filmy and lingering finish. Light and easy to drink for the ABV...great in hot weather, but dangerous.

A) very hazy golden yellow, floaties, minimal lacing
S) esters, pale malts, bananas; some yeast, apples
T) pale malts, bananas, apples, spice
M) sweet upfront with a dry finish; alcohol quite well-hidden; somewhat of a sipper compared to other tripels
O) I always like coming across a solid North American tripel, and this certainly is one; while there are better tripels out there, this was well worth the shot

I have slowly become in love with Tripels. I've been trying so many the past several months and I have not found any I did not enjoy.

I've had several other CISCO beers and have enjoyed each one of them. They make my favorite Summer Beer and I am not a fan of summer beers.

This Triple. was close to perfect. From the initial golden pour with just enough of a creamy head, to the soft, gentle aromas of vanilla and a bit of carmel.

The initial taste went totaly along with the smell. It was a big , soft and full mouthful. The aftertaste (which is always my most critical aspect of any beverage) came through with flying colors.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow to orange in color. The beer has a quarter finger tall bright white head that reduces to a thin film with a slightly thicker patch and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Some sweetness along with some pale malts, hints of esters, and some light yeast spice notes.

T: Flavors of pale malts with some light yeast spice notes as well as some esters. Well balanced.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light dryness in the finish.

O: Alcohol is well hidden and I enjoy the combination of the yeast spices with the sweetness. Easy to drink (but a sipping beer) and enjoyable.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color and poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down a bit but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: There are aromas of pale malts and a bit of sweetness in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of esters and pale malts along with some notes of sweetness. Peppery spices are present in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The finish has a bit of dryness.
O: This is a nice tripel that hides its alcohol very well.
