This is a fantastic IPA. Deep orange/amber color, with a massive fluffy tan head. Smell is just intense juicy grapefruit. Brilliantly hoppy, lots of pine flavor. Definitely leaning towards the hoppier side, but there's also a nice sweet malty flavor....nice balance. Carbonation is way active, as seems to be the case with most Cisco beers. Just a great bitterness to this beer....this one's got bite!! Cisco continues to impress me. Check this one out.

Appearance: Brownish orange. Translucent. Not much head. Some lacing. Looks like a healthy amount of sediment hanging out in there. Looks pretty good
Smell: Dank sticky sweet smelling hop aroma. Apricots definitely. The bottle says grapefruit aroma but I'm not getting that. Toasty oak. Interesting. I've had barleywines that smell similar. Intriguing
Taste: Definitely tastes more European than American which isn't a bad thing. Semi sweet apricots and roasted malts start things off. Some tart grapefruit before the wet hops kick in. Not very bitter considering. Mostly grassy flavors. Some oily pine notes but the hop profile is surprisingly understated. Not a great IPA but different and it gets some points from me for not just being a hop overload. Finish is crisp and somewhat dry
Mouthfeel: Resiny stickyness. Some sharp crispness in there. Refreshing
Overall: Not at all what I was expecting. Granted I'm not an all the time IPA drinker but this one kinda threw me for a loop. Not unpleasant. Not something I would run out for again but good enough in its own right. Not something I would recommend to a hophead but it is worth trying

Pours an effervescent amber with 2+ fingers of cream colored head. Fantastic lacing & head retention
S: Bready & fruitty
T: Woody hops, pears, leafy & grassy hops, seems more English to me... Faint figs, woodyness, pears as this warms. Finishes fruitty, woody, dry & restrained
MF: Medium bodied & creamy, nice balance all things considered
Mediocre AIPA, slightly better EIPA, Cisco, you are underwhelming me so far, although decently drinkable

Orangy copper color, nice off white head with pretty good retention. Slightly hazy. Sticky lacing. When you put the glass to your nose there is no doubt that it is an IPA. The hops are certainly there. Fruity and floral. Nice apricot smell in the nose is pretty dominant. Some citrus aromas also. I love the smell of the fruit but not much more besides that. The taste follows the lead of the aroma. Only real difference is that you get some of the malt up front. Very little bitterness in the finish. Light medium body not a ton of carbination. I gotta say I like this brew alot. Good balance, really smooth. Not the most flavorful complex IPA in the world for sure, but this is certainly a drinking beer, i could put a lot of these down.
