Whale's Tale Pale Ale is an English style pale ale named in honor of Nantucket's whaling history. Wonderfully balanced with Maris Otter malt, hints of crystal malt and generously hopped with East Kent Goldings, it has a rich honey color and fruity hop aroma.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance –The brew was served a clear amber color with a two finger white head. The head faded relatively fast to leave a light amount of lacing.
Smell – The aroma was heaviest of caramel and some bready malt aromas. Some citrus and a light pine hop were also present mixed within; although these aromas were on the lighter side.
Taste – The taste begins of a bready malt flavor mixed with a lighter caramel sweetness. As the taste advances from there, hop flavors begin to enter the flavor profile. A more mild earthy and piney hop are the first to be detected followed by a light citrus bitter hop. These in the end take away from some of the sweetness and leave a slightly bitter dryness on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – A body of the beer was medium with a carbonation level below average. Both suited the more bready nature of the beer quite well.
Overall – An OK brew, but nothing really all that special.

Decent beer. Could use less hops but otherwise it's excellent.

Another beauty of a beer, slick and creamy, sticky lacing all the way around and down. Light malty aroma, taste more malt capped with a touch of bitterness. Very enjoyable.

Cisco Whale's Tale English Pale Ale, 5.6% - this is really good, and such a pretty beer! Deep, dark, fruity hops and crystal malts make for a nice break from grapefruit and flowers! Cheers!

Clear amber appearance with an average size off white head and decent lacing. Earthy, herbal, bready aroma paired with a touch of spice. Subtle, rounded hop flavors matched against a strong malt backbone. Bitterness is evident but not sharp. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel.
